Need to modify reservations. Please advise

We have 2 reservations booked for the AofA family suites for 11 people. One group of 6 will be checking in on April 13th. The second group of 5 will be checking in on April 16th. One of the group of 6 has decided to come one day later and leave one day earlier. Will Disney allow her to modify her park tickets so she won't have to pay for the days she's not there? Additionally, another person has decided to join us beginning the 13th. Since the suite only holds 6 is there any way we can add her to the reservation? It really would only be the 14th and 15th that would be a problem but we are traveling down in an RV so one of us could sleep in that on the nights before the second group checks in. Not sure Disney would approve of that though. And to complicate matters we are all on the dining plan. How should we proceed? Thanks!

As long as you are outside of 45 day you should be able to modify the reservation any way you want. The only issue might be room availability and/or any promotions you are booked under.

As to exceeding the room occupancy, there is no way Disney will do this as it violates the fire code, their own policies, etc. The only saving grace you might have is is one of the 6 is an infant, they will not count against your room occupancy allowing you to put 6 + an infant into the room.

Well, at the worst you should be able to modify the reservation so that everyone has a shorter ticket, and then have the group who need the extra days stop by the desk when they are there and add the extra days to the ticket.

The only option you would have for the guest arriving early I can think of is if they still allowed for early pickup of park tickets. I have no idea if they will allow you to do this anymore, but they could potentially get their ticket, use it and upgrade to add the extra 2 days to it, and then have them pay out of pocket for meals those first 2 days.

I don't think you can add another person to the room. Maybe book a standard room for those two nights for this person so they can still get her tickets for the length of stay and dining plan if applicable?
