OK need some help from all the experts here? We are going to the world in less than 3 weeks and we are taking 2 umbrella strollers for our GD's. The question is, we have been trying to think of some way to have them easily identifiable when they are park in a crowd. Need ideas. Needs to be something that when we fold them up to get on the bus it is simple and not in the way of others, so that means balloons are out. So experts what have you done? Looking forward to the responses.

How old are the girls? We made a game of "find the stroller"! You'd be surprised how good kids are at finding their own stuff in a crowd! Night time makes it a little trickier, you can tie a glow stick from the dollar store to the handle to make it stick out.

My Back pack has a Bright neon yellow rain cover. I strap it to the back of the stroller so it it not easlit removed.

We took a bunch of those colorful "Disney" Mickey shaped paint chips from Home Depot and tied those to the stroller with colorful yarn. I guess they don't have that paint anymore(or those chips), but you could use any chip and cut out Mickey shaped ones and use those.

Definitely couldn't mistake our stroller for anyone else's.

I would also re-think the umbrella strollers. We took one the first trip with my daughter and found that it really didn't have much of what we needed on it. First off, it didn't have a sun shade of any kind, so she was in the sun a lot. Next it didn't have a basket to put all of that extra kid stuff in, so it had to be carried...not fun. And there weren't any drink holders or a tray for our stuff. Lastly, it was so hot on the pavement(we went in June) that the wheels actually expanded and the rubber part just fell off the plastic rim. It was about 2 days into the trip and I had to throw it in the garbage. For the next stroller, we got this one(http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3994452)...a Baby Trend Trendsport. It was much smaller than the travel system, but had the sun shade, tray, reclining seat, basket and was super durable. It actually became our primary stroller and lasted through 2 kids and multiple trips to WDW and everywhere else.

We bought an umbrella stroller from Babies R US and it had a sun shade, basket, and a cup holder. It cost a bit more than a Target or Wal-mart stroller but, it was totally worth it & so easy to fold up to put on the buses. We put a colorful ribbon on our stroller to help us identify it.

Duct tape on the handles. Go to any craft store where they sell a gazillion colors and patterns now(I know...my daughter has about 100 rolls).
Pick one that you like to spot on your stroller.

Great ideas all. Don't forget permanent marker with your name and cell number on the stroller. If lost someone may call you. Disney mailed me a lost prescription bottle with 2 pills in it. We lost it on our last day. Disney lost and found can't thank them enough!!

Glow sticks are great for nighttime park ventures. Spraying the wheels is a really cute idea but wouldn't it run in the rain? Use painters tape for the handles and bars along the sides. They come off clean with no stickiness. We also took the Mickey stickers they gave us and wrapped them around the bars on the sides.

Enjoy!!!!:)

I do not think it would run in the rain if you use outdoor paint, just paint the wheels, not the tires. I already have my name & address on it from last yr. We also get a wheelchair sticker for it, I use it as a wheelchair for her in the parks, so we can take it almost everywhere. There are just a few places that I believe that I will not be able to take it & have to leave outside.
I have bought glow necklaces after halloween, & thought about pink duct tape.

We have 2 fave ways that we've used.

1. Pick one of DH's more distinctive aka...tacky neckties and tie it on to the stroller
2. Use tied up balloon strings, curl them...and tie them on to the stroller to make a very curly and colorful marker. I've taken all of our leftover bday balloons at home and made one pretty easily.
