Need Some Info About Christmas ???

HI,
THIS IS MY FAMILY'S FIRT TRIP TO WALT DISNEY WORLD....WE HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE OUR TWO BOYS 12 AND 5 TO WALT DISNEY WORLD FOR CHRISTMAS WEEK....WE ARE STAYING AT THE ALL STARS SPORTS RESORT....DO THEY DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS???I READ ALOT OF STORIES OF HOW BUSY IT IS,I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW BUSY IT WOULD BE....COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME IDEA'S ON WHAT GOES ON CHRISTMAS DAY AND WHERE TO EAT A CHRISTMAS MEAL????ANY OTHER IDEA'S OR TIPS WOULD BE APPECIATED.........

I dont know much about christmas meals but can tell you that your resort along with every other inch of Disney Parks and resorts will be decorated.

Welcome to the Magic daystar.

It will be busy when you go,but not as bad if the majority of your trip is before Xmas. The week between Xmas and New Year's historically is one of the busiest weeks of the year.

There are new Priority Seating Guidelines. So check those out. I think there is a thread on the News and Rumours forum. Oops, there is a thread here too. I would try and make ressies the first day of the window period begins....

If you want to make Xmas dinner special......hmmm.....with kids......hmmm.......Cinderella's Royal Table......or Brown Derby..........Le Cellier..........just a few suggestions. There are many places that would be cool on Xmas, just depends what you are in the mood for and what park you will be in that day.

We were there for New Year's last year and the decorations everywhere are amazing, but try to get to GF..it is so beautiful with the Gingerbread House and Trees. We had breakfast at 1900 PF for NY day and it was very festive. LTT in MK is also fun for Christmas dinner, (we did this in 1996), but PS are hard to get. I think the decorations at WL at the holidays are so inviting with the fireplace and all..try a hot chocolate there or eat at WCC for the kids! You will be amazed at all of WDW during the holidays.
