Need Some Help On Next Year!!

Hey everyone, I figured I'd ask you guys since, well, you're all the best!

Ok, I need help on when do you think it would be the best time to go to Disneyland next year. Here are a few things, it will be our first time, so should we not go on the 17th (or around it) since it would be very crowded and not as enjoyable? And, the hotel is basically free since we're using DVC points, and the reason I'm asking now is because we need to book ASAP But anyways.. here are the dates I was thought of...

June 26 -30
July 3 - 7
July 17 - 21
August 7 - 11

I personally pick July 17 - 21 because I want to be there for the "big day". But what do you think is best? Also, any tips between now and whenever we decide to go would be great! I can't wait! Thanks ahead of time!

I'm guessing next summer will be crowded no matter which date. I'd also pick July 17-21 just to be part of the history and the celebration. I've read around that Disneyland is planning a "little something extra" for that date, but have no idea what it could be.
If, for any reason you can't make it for the 17th to the 21st, your best bet are the June dates only because the weather is more comfortable in june.

Anytime in the summer next year is going to be crowded, out of those days what ever would be better for when u want to go becasue it isnt gonna make a difference it will be the same just gotta deal with the crowds, but of course its worth it

:lol: :lol: Is it worse than WDW? Because we went there this year, and at AK for the most of the day, and there was practically no one there! Walk ons for must stuff! I was impressed..

stranger, I have heard about the "special" things planned for July 17th. Like a concert featuring major superstars singing their favorite Disney songs, and many other little things! That's just one of the million reasons I want to go on that day

I would pick the July 17th date or the August date. There are rumors that Space Mtn may open on July 17th. It will be crowded no matter what date you choose, but you'll have a great time.

Oh yes, 4th of July gets very busy. Think waiting in a 20 minute line to use the restrooms. They really needed to give out fastpasses for that line.

I like that concert idea with the big superstars. I wish I could join them to sing my favorite songs.

Go with August. The Disneyland Resort Hotels are already booked for the 17th, and it will be packed. Plus, I will be there in early August

Well I have to say whenever you go will be a part of history in the making. I am planning to go on May 5 the "official" opening of Disneyland's 50th year. And I am planning to try and take my dad with me. He was born the day after DL opened and has been going there practically every year since.
