I have been looking at a few canon ones and need input on these few I have narrowed it down too..

Thanks In Advance..:)

if you searching for something not that bulky I'd go with the middle sized powershot

I have one
day photos come out great and nightshots will also be possible with lots of manual control

maybe take a peek on www.dpreview.com to view some sample pics

I have a Canon A95, which is similar to the second one and I love it. The pictures are great (IMO). My sister has the third one and she is into scrapbooking, so she takes a tone of pictures. Everything I have seen looks awesome from that and she raves about it, because it has a great zoom. Good Luck!

The S3 is a fine camera. Just take the time to learn all the ins and outs and practice a lot. The only thing to watch out for is shutter lag (the time between pressing the shutter release and the actual pic being taken). Once you take that into account (and keep the IS turned on), you should get great pics.

there sure is .. but it's quite a hassle to manual focus with this tiny lcd screen ... i only use use manual focus on macro pictures or DOF shots.. anything else is just not accurate enough (on my camera)
