Need Help

I am wanting to plan my son's birthday trip and won't have the full balance that I need before the 45 day mark. So I was going to just make a reservation for 1 for a room only and pay that off immediately so I can guarantee at least the room and then add the other 2 people later when I have the money. My question is.......when is the deadline to add the other 2 people, dining plan, and tickets with park hopper or do I have to do it in the beginning when I make the original reservation? I am planning for March 9 2013.

If you want to reduce your up-front costs, you can book room-only initially with all three people [room cost is the same or close] all you pay is a one-night stay as deposit on booking. Then add DDP and a two-day base ticket each at the last possible moment, which I believe is at least three days before arrival [you can ask how late you can add when you book], you'll have to pay in full when you add because you're already within 45 days. Then when you arrive you can upgrade the tickets to length-of-stay hoppers and pay the difference then.

That's what I would do reserve room only for all the people then add the rest later.
