Need help with my upcoming WDW trip

I am going to be in Disney the end of Feb. I took advantage of the buy 4 get 3 deal. I only have park tickets for 1 day, as I will be buying an annual pass. The $200 gift card and the 1 day ticket will go towards my AP. With that said, here are my questions. I will be cutting it close on my first day down to get to Le Cellier for a 5:45 adr. I land in Orlando at 2:44. Do I have enough time to check in, get to Epcot, purchase the AP & make my 5:45 ADR? What might be my best course of action? Should I park at Boardwalk and go in through the " gateway"? Any advise on the quickest rout from MCO to Pop Century? Thanks all!!

How are you getting from the airport to the resort? You might be cutting it close by checking in first. If you are using DME, you will have to go to your resort first. If you are renting or using a shuttle, you could go direct to the park.

This is a totally novice question, but if you're running it close, could you purchase your AP after dinner?

Would have to burn the one day ticket to get into the park for dinner. Dont recall if you can use the same day ticket price on an AP after you have used the ticket. Might be worth a call to Guest Services before the trip to find out...

I will be renting a car to get from the airport. I need to check in to be able to get the $200 gift card. I did think about upgrading my ticket after dinner, if this is possible! Sorry for the confusion!

I've read in other posts that the time is pretty much negligible between renting a car and using ME, if that's addressing your concern.

I don't really need help...

I always look good! :king:

I just thought of something...

Do you plan on getting the Tables in Wonderland card with your AP? If so, you should plan on driving direct to Pop, check in and get your gift card, then drive to regular EPCOT parking and go to Guest Relations [just to the right of the main entrance before you go in[ to get both your AP and TiW card before going to Le Cellier. That way, you get the 20% off on one of the more expensive places right off the bat.

MapQuest shows a 28 minute drive time MCO - Pop [Directions] and about 8 minutes from Pop to EPCOT. Allowing a very generous hour from landing to leaving MCO, 40 minutes to Pop, half hour to check in and 20 minutes to get to EPCOT and park, you'll have half an hour to get to GR, buy your AP & TiW and then get to Le Cellier. You should be fine. Even if you're a little late they'll normally seat you [I've never actually been late, but I've seen it].

I'm not sure if there is a Guest Relations at the International Gateway and if there is whether they have the TiW cards available there. Honestly, I don't think you save that much time parking at Boardwalk anyway...

Good luck and have a great time!

Once again, thank you Monty!! I will be on the dining plan, so I won't be needing TiW card. Dining out is a major part of any of my vacations!!:slurp:
