This request may sound quite far-fetched, but I'm currently in the process of designing the first park of my proposed Disney theme park, the Magic Kingdom. This park measures 138 acres-- the same as Disneyland Paris. What I'm trying to do is design all the sections of the park to fit together and total exactly 138 acres in land area. This is almost impossible, since I have been trying to compare this against WDW's Magic Kingdom (107 acres) and other Disney parks, and come up with calculations from what I measure on a map-- and so far, I am getting nowhere! Does anyone know how to do this in a better way, or should I just design my renderings first, section by section, and worry about land area later?
Another dillema I have run into was comparing the area of buildings in other WDW parks (ie: EPCOT's Living Seas) to what they would cover on a Magic Kingdom map. I really appreciate your help and suggestions!
