I have been reading posts for an hour now and could read all day if I had the time- but I am running out of time - so I am sorry is this is repetative.

My husband just took a new job that is based in the Tampa area. We just found out yesterday that they are having the entire family, my husband, me and my 2 boys (4 and 9 months) go to Clearwater for an entire month! They are paying for an "extended stay" type place.

Being that close to Disney, I must go - and I must go often!!:sohappy:

We will be there Nov. 8th thru Dec. 7. WHat are the best(cheapest) tickets I should get to go often (I can't afford an annual pass). For Disney and/or other attractions. Any reccomendations?

We will be there over Thanksgiving- is that a good time to treck out there or should we go before and after that week due to crowds? We have an entire month to work with, but keep in mind that my husband will only be available on the weekends to go with us, as this is technically supposed to be a "work -training" trip.

The last time we were at Disneyworld was 2 years ago (when I first found this site) and I recieved a lot of helpful info then. Anybody who wants to offer their 2 cents - please do.

Thank You.

Well if you can't afford an annual pass, I say buy the 7 day park hopper plus which is cheaper and spread out your vacation days, and as for other destinations there is the 5 parks ticket which can be used 14 days from beginning of use and gives you entry to Sea World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Bush Gardens and Wet 'n' Wild and it costs are equal to the four park hopper at disney! It's quite a good deal!

I really think an annual pass would be your best bet if you want to go very often. We buy an annual pass even if we go for just 2 weeks out of the year. By the time you get a 7 day parkhopper.. it ends up being around the same price. But maybe Pam or someone else has some better advice for you.

If you plan on going to the parks for more then seven days, always get the Annual Pass. (Yes, you can afford it, it's the cheapest ticket there -- for a month you're only paying maybe $10.50 a day at the most.) I don't see you going to the waterparks, so just the normal annual pass should do just fine. I'm not quite sure about the price for a non FL resident. If you have Disney Club, there is a discount though. :) Anyway, that's all I have to say.
