Need Help Picking 4 Meals

Hello All,
First let me say that I love this site and I am so glad that I found it, it has been a wealth of information to me being a first timer going to the World. I have almost all of my ADRs booked for our trip, however in looking over my list I have 6 meals worth of dining credits left over. I already know what I will be doing for two of those meals, so that just leave me with four. We are on the Deluxe Dining Plan, and I have already booked all of the character meals (well almost all of them :)) .

So.....What I am asking is for you fine people to give me some suggestions for places to eat. I have 4 meals for either a Breakfast or a Lunch ( I have Dinners planned already) for the last two full days we are in the world.

Thank you for taking the time to help a first timer out.

Le Cellier is a favorite of many on this board. It takes 1 credit for lunch and 2 for dinner. Although it may be too late to get a reservation there because it fills up quickly, but lunch may be your best bet to find a reservation slot. Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is a great spot for breakfast. I've never been there for lunch though. I've also heard great things about Boma's breakfast. It is one of my favorite dinner spots on property, but I haven't made it over there for breakfast yet. I noticed that you already have Tusker House listed. It is one of my favorite breakfast places on property, so I hope you enjoy that meal (and all of them for that matter).

For breakfast, Kona Cafe. The Tonga Toast gets such rave reviews. I'm trying it for the first time in December.

Oh, and Whispering Canyon for the skillet for breakfast.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I went ahead at got breakfast booked at Boma, and while I still have 3 meals left that I can plan, I may just leave them open to play it by ear as we go, unless someone has a convincing argument for a restaurant that I don't have that we just must go too, and I would be totally remiss if we skipped it. My wife's biggest thing is she doesn't want it over planned and made to feel like we are doing everything around just going to our next meal.

Any thoughts on this, should I heed her advice or book them and then cancel if we feel we don't want to take up the time to miss out on other things. This is our first time in the World, and I know we won't get to do everything in this trip, but I just want to be prepared, and since we have the deluxe dining plan, I want to feel that we got everything we could out of it.

Thanks again for all your great advice

I would definitely go ahead and book the ADR's for all your credits. If you decide not to go to a particular restaurant then you can cancel. Be sure to give 24 hours notice for Signature dining spots.

You may still be able to/want to choose different restaurants when you are in the World, but if you have reservations at least you know you have a seat somewhere if you need it!

As for restaurant suggestions:
Boma for breakfast and dinner
Via Napoli for lunch or dinner
Kona Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Definitely book all of your meals to use your credits/
I am glad you booked Boma for Breakfast. It is the best buffet on property both for breakfast and dinner.
I think that you should try 'Ohana for Breakfast. It is a family style meal with Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch.

A lot probably depends on where you are on the days you have open. If you are going to Down Town Disney Raglan Road is good. Probably best for dinner if you want to catch some of the entertainment but I think they are open for lunch.

Kona Cafe is pretty good and a quick monorail trip from MK.

Tonga Toast is the most overhyped Disney food IMO. Dole Whip is equally hyped but it deserves it. I had Tonga Toast for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was over-the-top sicky sweet.

To the OP, excellent choice with Boma. The goat cheese and chive scrambled eggs are the best breakfast food on property, IMO. They also serve POG juice which is dee-lish.

Why not add a signature meal or two to your plan? You could add them or change some of your existing meals to signatures. They take 2 meal credits but on the Deluxe Dining Plan you have credits to spare. Artist Point, Cali Grill, Citricos, Narcoossee's and others are all excellent.

Thank you, my friend. You had me at goat cheese, and Boma was just booked for my breakfast ADR in August!

Thanks all for your suggestions. I went ahead and booked both 'Ohana for Breakfast and Kona Cafe for Lunch. Based on my chart I put together, I still have 12 credits left, which for my family of four would be three regular meals, or one signature meal and one regular meal. Looking at my schedule it would seem the missing meals are all lunches. Now on the one day I canceled my lunch on purpose already because of the timing with taking the girls to BBB. But the other days are still game.

Thanks again for all your suggestions, and I am still looking at the ones people have suggested (that I have not booked), and will gladly accept any more suggestions from others.

On the days that you still have lunches unscheduled...do you know which park will you be in? If you don't, where are your reservations for breakfast or dinner?

Sounds like you're going to some some delicious meals! I would suggest Via Napoli (in Epcot) for lunch or dinner. Best pizza on property! My mouth is watering just thinking about it...
