need help from somebody staying at the Poly!

Hello, i know i should have posted this days if not weeks ago but i plan on proposing to my girlfriend during the wishes fireworks on Thursday august 13. We have reservations at Ohana for 8:00 and plan on going to the beach afterwards to watch the wishes fireworks. I would like to get it all on video with my smart phone but i don't want to wait until the time comes to ask somebody who would probably rather be watching the fireworks instead of taking a video of me proposing to my girlfriend. If there is anybody that is staying at the Poly that is willing to help I would greatly appreciate it! If your are interested I could give you all the details in private so i can very everything set up. Thank you in advanced!

Have you thought of contacting guest services? Or speak with someone at the hotel, perhaps they have a suggestion to offer. @Tuvalu will be at the Poly at the same time as us next week, but I would call the hotel ASAP and see what they suggest. Congrats and good luck!

Oh I would so love to do this for you, but won't be at the Poly until the following week! I agree with @awheartsdw, talk to someone at the concierge desk in the Poly lobby the day prior or morning of...I am sure they can make magic happen for a proposal!!

And keep us posted on how it went! What a wonderful story you guys will have :inlove:.

Unfortunately we aren't staying at the Poly, just dining there on Thursday night. I called the hotel and they referred me to the portrait part of Disney. It world be prefect since they do a half hour session but they stop at 5:00 pm. Even called the restaurant but 3was unaware that it was on the second floor and to have my waiter or something like that come down for a few minutes wouldn't work.
