OK, I did the hard part, now don't let me down. I lowered my dignity and groveled because I felt that you smart guys, gals and trash cans would make it your own. Have at it. I'll be watching.
Can't... Say.... Anything.... I made a promise that if they moved this thraed to here that I wouldn't offend anyone for the rest of my life or tomorrow, whichever comes first, so I can't answer that if I wanted too. Should I live through the night I will reevaluate it then.

OMG, what you must have done to react that way. I mean as talking trash cans go, @PUSH is alright, but really there are hundreds of other trash cans just hanging around, and they are quiet. A distinct positive in my view.

OK, now that a new day is upon us and I have awoken, am upright and have taken nourishment, I am free to comment on your question. Are you ready? Here it is!
You're Canadian so I believe that according to one of the amendments to the US constitution, we are obligated to "like" Canadians automatically. So that means that clicking the button for you is a waste of time, you can just assume that it is there. Hopefully our next set of elected officials will see the terrible error of their ways and nullify whatever amendment that happens to be.
Anyone that resides in another country besides the USA, must manually "like" a post in order for it to record. So all of you non-US Citizens support your fellow commie foreign posters, eh.
All opinions expressed by trash cans are ignored under that same amendment.
