Need advice re: school trip

In May 2015 our high school music department is going to DisneyWorld for workshops/fun. Last time they stayed at All Star Music Resorts and had hopper passes that chaperones confiscated inside turnstiles so kiddies wouldn't wander out of the park. Do these groups get MagicBands now? If so, how can they use Fastpass+? Sometimes they don't even get into a park until the afternoon because of workshops or singing in Downtown Disney. Any hints on how they can get on those headliner attractions would be most helpful.

That sounds like fun! I missed any Disney music trips when I was in school; they all landed before and after my years there.

If staying on property, everything will be through MagicBands, which will also be used for FastPass+. I would imagine you will have ticket confirmation numbers ahead of time, so they can make FastPass selections and guarantee their spot for any attractions they don't want to miss.
