For our next trip (May 2-12) we (DH and I) will be splitting the time between three resorts. We already have the Dolphin booked from May 5-8 with the Gov. rate but still need three nights before and three after. Would like to spend no more than $50 per night. What can you recommend for off-site at that price? (I'm too chicken to try Priceline)

Many times we have stayed at Travelodge Main Gate East. It isn't Disney, but it's not too bad. We also like Holiday Inn MGE, and Days Inn MGE. Have You tried Disney's All Star or Pop? The last 3 trips we stayed at ASMu for 50$ a night. Look for special codes, annual pass rates, at par offers etc.

I stayed there In September. It’s not the prettiest hotel by a long shot, but it’s cheap, a stone’s throw from the entrance to Disney World, has free Continental Breakfast buffet and if you don’t have transport there are free buses to Disney.

I was happy with it.
