Need a good US/IOA touring plan

We're heading to US/IOA for one day on Thursday, February 24. It's been years since I've been there (went the year after IOA opened), and I don't know what the best strategy would be for that park, other than the obvious (get to the Wizarding World first thing). We've got a one day park hopper, and here's the stuff we want to see:

Islands of Adventure
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Dragon Challenge
Ollivanders
Spiderman
Hulk Coaster
Jurassic Park River Ride

Universal Studios
Disaster
E.T.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockets
Jaws
Jimmy Neutron
The Mummy
Shrek 4D
Simpsons
Terminator 3D
Twister

The park hours are 9-7. Is it possible to hit all those attractions in one day?

I'm thinking IOA first, and then shooting over to the Studios. Can it be done? What strategy would you all recommend?

Buy The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2011 -- it has a great section with complete touring plans for Universal/IOA and the complete strategy for how to do WWHP...

I'll give it a try for you.

100% no matter what the longest line of the day will be for Ollivanders. Go there 1st!

Since that puts you in IoA, best work back from there.
2. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
3. Dragon Challenge
4. Jurassic Park River Ride
5 & 6. Spiderman/ Hulk Coaster

USF.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit will be hit or miss. Can have massively long lines. Either do it first or wait until the very last minute possible. IE: park closes at 7pm, get in line at 6:58.

Other than that, the lines by that point in the day will be longer at every attraction, so just do them as you can.

Important time saver, single rider lines. MANY attractions have them and can be used at most to get through much quicker.

It'll be tight, but if you luck out with low crowds and get there at opening, you might do it. One thing I didn't know when we went there was that certain of the attractions at US (i.e., ET, Jaws, Terminator, etc.) do not open at park opening, so you have to plan to do other things during that time frame. I agree that you should do Olivander's first then Forbidden Journey, then work from there. Wear running shoes, and don't hesitate to run back and forth between US and IoA. Good luck!

if there are no lines, and on a thursday there really shouldnt be, you could be done pretty quick. when the attendance is low 90% still seem to go to potterland so get there at opening and hit that first. Take the single rider line when u can and may be done way before nightfall. I know on slow days i can knock out the studios in 3hours for everything u listed and still be able to see the horror makeup show like 2 or 3 times at the end of the day
