Nearly 180 Days Away/Newbie Planning

Hi everyone,

I can start make dining reservations starting Tuesday, Feb. 9. I will be at WDW during probably the busiest time possible, according to what I've read so far. But, this is the only time the trip would work, and we're prepared to see some crowds.

Can I make the dining reservations at midnight, as soon as the 9th hits? We aren't staying on the resort, but we will be in FL from Aug. 7 (arriving) to Aug. 14 (flying out). So, that leaves Aug. 8-13, and we have 4-day park hopper tickets. Can we stay during the later hours the park is open for extra hours, and just not go on any rides, or do we actually have to exit the park?

No you have to wait until 6am eastern to do them online and 7am eastern to do them by phone on your 180th day and each day following until to you finish making all your reservations. You cannot do all of them on the 180th day because you are not staying on property. You have to do each day individually when it hits it's 180th day.
Also EMH are for only those staying on property. You cannot ride any rides etc because they scan magic bands to see if you are staying on property at the entrance to each ride. So there won't be really anything for you to try and stay for anyway if you can't ride any rides except for shopping or observing the sites. If they notice you are lingering around and not a resort guest they can politely usher you out and ask you to leave.
