Nearby or Good Neighbor Hotels

Hell gang!
I would like some help in finding a nearby Disneyland hotel at a reasonable price. We tried getting a room at one of the rooms on property, but not having much luck. Any recommendations would be great as long as you can provide the name of the hotel so that I may look it up. We are on a budget too

I just stayed at the Hilton Hotel and Towers at the Convention Center in May and it was a nice hotel. I have also stayed at Paradise Pier, which was really that much different from the Hilton except closer. I got a package through WDWTC and for the price I paid it came out to $130 a night. There are many other hotels/motels in the area that are cheaper than that. The Candy Cane Inn looked nice. There is also the HoJo across the street which seems to get good reviews.

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites in the past and am staying at the Homewood Suites in Garden Grove in September.

Both have shuttle service to the Disney parks and are great hotels in the Hilton family. (Also..both include full breakfast each day if that helps!)

Thanks for your help everyone. I spent about 2 hours on-line researching hotels. We are really on a tight budget. We went with the Ramada Inn Maingate, right across the street from Disneyland. It doesn't seem too prestine, but it looks like a pretty good deal. Anyone stay there or heard anything about it?

I hear its right across the street from Disneyland..... Why didnt you just get a discounted room through CRO?
