Big deal being made about Embid not knowing Doc was to. E fired….the releases are carefully worded and I wonder if it is reality. In The GM’s Press Conference today he stated Embid “was shocked to find out”, making it sound as if he wasn’t told prior….

Jalen wasn't too surprising; his on-air presence has noticeably dwindled. But Jeff must've been paid a crazy amount of money because otherwise it makes no sense at all.

Will it be worth it if we lose Inside the NBA as well? It'll be hard imagining NBA coverage without Ernie, Charles, Kenny and Shaq for the next decade.

I know that’s what makes it a tough call. Probably not but I want that song dammit. Worst case NBC buys rights and doesn’t use the old theme song. I think I liked Inside the NBA more when Chris Webber was there. Then again those were the glory days of my Lakers winning championships so maybe I just tuned in more often and was more into it. I love Shaq but I remember him coming across more one note than Webber and I just liked the chemistry that crew had going. I wouldn’t be shocked though if the crew has more chemistry with Shaq at their pinnacle vs Webber at their pinnacle. I’d have to watch a few episodes and compare.
