Despite some fairly mediocre reviews of the movie, Walt Disney Picture's National Treasure has been #1 every day for a week since it opened. Given that Alexander is garnering even worse reviews, there is a chance that National Treasure can remain on top or near the top for its second weekend. I would think that Thanksgiving weekend is a huge weekend for box office numbers. It would be interesting to see if National Treasure can make its way into the Top Ten 2004 gross by the end of the year.
Incredibles will go to #5 on Thanksgiving but then has another 70 million or so until it catches Harry Potter. For some reason I find myself rooting that Walt Disney Pictures has a successful year.
