Anyone here watch Nashville on ABC? The second season premieres tonight at 10 (Eastern).
I watched it in the beginning last year, and it kind of got slow, but the latter part of the season was really good. Disney fans will know Chip Esten from some Disney Channel shows and from Whose Line is it Anyway? He plays a go-to guitar guy in Nashville who has had an on-again, off-again relationship with the Rayna James, a legendary country star who also has a family (with talented and nice daughters, by the way, that sing a version of "Ho Hey"). He is also a recoverinig alcoholic, who fell off the wagon at the end of the season and caused a disastrous crash with Rayna in the car.
That was the cliffhanger, which will start the season tonight I am sure.
But I also like some of the music. Some of it from last season was written by an awesome band from Belmont University, called Striking Matches. I especially liked, "When The Right One Comes Along". It was sung by the show's characters, but I like the original even better. http://strikingmatches.com/music
