Home Media Retailing has revealed early details on an extended edition of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe which stars Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, and Anna Popplewell. The film will arrive in two different incarnations - a four-disc extended edition ($42.99), and a giftset ($79.99), both of which will only been available for seven weeks. The four-disc extended edition will have enhanced special effects and an extended, climactic battle scene. Extras will include a “Visualizing The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: The Complete Production Experience” feature which takes an in-depth look at the process and technology of adapting the book into the film, Narnia fun facts, bloopers, commentaries from the filmmakers and stars, as well as behind-the-scenes and making-of featurettes. The giftset will include all of that, along with a pair of heirloom quality bookends from WETA. Stay tuned for further details.

I WISH I could buy stuff like that...but after you already have one copy of it...it just seems like you're wasting money a bit, like the Extended Editions of Lord of the Rings. I guess I'll get all that stuff someday *sigh*

Well I figure if they cut all those scenes for the theatrical production, they must not be good enough to watch.
