We have gone there several times. The food has always been excelent and the view it wonderful as well. If you get seated toward the back, next to the windows, you get a great view of MK and the lake.

Meega, nala kwishta!
And if you time your meal, you can see the MK fireworks. They even turn down the lighting and pipe in the MK audio for the show.

Oh, and the food and service is great too. :D

You've got to take in a meal! The food is outstanding and the bartenders are nice on their pours as well!

Along with what everyone else is saying, the place is great! Watching the fireworks is awesome as they do dim the lights and pump in the music for everyone to listen to.

Get a PS, some people were waiting for an hour or more the night I was there.

I proposed to my now wife there, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

All the above is very true, but be warned this is next to Victoria & Albert's probably the next most expensive place at the World. Last time i ate there in 2002, i recall that a surf/turf entree was over $50.00. So be warned. Also you should check out the menu over at www.wdwig.com. I believe the menu is heavily seafood oriented if i recall. Personally, I 'd return here despite the price, but i have a few others i'd go to first. My dinner companion that evening however, will not be returning. In his opinion, he rather spend less money for a better meal at California Grill, Artist's Point, and Emeril's.

two thumbs up

one of the best restaurants for atmosphere, appearance, food, etc. Desert (sorbets and fresh berries) was amazing - we will be returning here in a month since it was so good. We showed up late in the evening and walked out onto the wrap-around deck outside the restaurant and watched the fireworks. We also got a closeup of the electric water pageant floats from our windowside seats.

We've eaten at all the upscale restaurants (including both Emerils = good too), and this one shouldn't be missed.

Definitely go!

They have some great food there. Most entrees are around $20.00 to $25.00. One trip, my parents ate there 3 times, and we were staying at AKL!

And by the way, all their deserts are amazing too, especially the almond-crusted cheesecake.
