Best places to take a nap, outside of the parks, besides hotel room.

I hate to see a post go unanswered so here goes. Not sure if you are looking for a real, fall asleep nap or just a close the eyes and rest a few minutes nap. I have seen people sleeping/resting on any bench in the park or near the bus stops or boat ramps. You can rest/nap in the lobby of any hotel....I know you asked about places besides the hotel. I have also seen people stretched out on the benches in the park. I guess I am not sure what you are asking.....when I visit, I am either in the park or at the hotel/room/property/pool. If you need a real nap in the middle of the day, the best place to go is back to the hotel and get under the covers.

You could head over to the Contemporary dock or find a bench over by the boardwalk.

The beach-themed areas have hammocks--like Poly, CBR, parts of CSR, I believe Beach Club.

hmm...I'm confused about the "outside the parks" aspect of this question???? I've never had my kids take a nap outside that parks that wasn't at our hotel??

Inside the parks, we have our typical "nap spaces." At Epcot, they always nap in the Innoventions area because it is relatively quiet and there's a huge seating area. At AK, they've always napped in that back area of Pizzafari. At HS, well...come to think of it, we've never stayed at HS during nap time??? And, we don't' stay at MK during nap time either because we stay at WL usually, and just hop on the boat home.

We actually did nap on UOE on our last trip! The DBF had just gotten off two weeks of night shift work and he would tire so easily. So, he put his head in my lap and I enjoyed the antics of Ellen and Bill Nye.

My last trip after a big breakfast at Poly we just walked out on their beach and I layed in one of the chairs lookin out on the castle and ended up taking an unplanned 20 min nap. It was great.
