It's hot, your feet hurt, a little cranky and tired but you don't want to leave the park...where do you go for a nap?

Here are our family's choices...
MK-Carousel of Progress-21 minute nap
Epcot-Universe of Energy/Ellen-38 minute nap
HS-Sounds Dangerous w/Drew when it was open...Little Mermaid is now the go to spot 15 mins.
AK-Nemo Musical- 30 minute nap

During our last trip, the CM during the opening remarks at Carousel of Progress stating "during the ride eating, drinking, smoking, flash photography and snoring is not allowed during the ride".

I sometimes snooze during Hall of Presidents or the American Adventure.

About 7 or 8 years ago I went down at Christmas tiem with my family friends, my friend who is my age, and her step-dad all fell asleep. When it was over her step-dad woke us all up and we didn't even know it happend!

Man, dim the lights, give me a comfy chair, and I'm out. It works in the movie theaters here, and at Disney, the American Adventure, as much as I love it. Carousel of Progress is a close second, but sometimes that moving theater business interupts my nap.

I nap on the 3 Caballeros Mexico boat ride.;)
SE sometimes puts me 2 sleep.:)
TTA ( Peoplemover) makes me nod off a bit.
I can fall asleep on the Liberty Square Riverboat, and sometimes POTC and IASW depending upon how exhausted I am!:D

One thing I love about Epcot is the nap spots.
The movie in France, American Adventure, Universe of Energy ..... sometimes I take the attraction twice once to watch it and once to have a cool dark place for a nap.

Magic Kingdom
Hall of Presidents, Carousel of Progress. I used to have great naps when they played the Animation loop ( can not remember what they called it "Moments in Animation" used to be first building on the right entering the park.) Now it is just another character meet spot.

Animal Kingdom 1/2 day park for me do not get to catch many naps.
Hollywood Studios which they let me have a nap near the back of American Idol but no they insist everybody crams into the first two rows and the rest of the Theatre is empty.

We need time for things to happen.
Ya know it's funny, I have NEVER napped while at Disney! I think I' missing out on something here LOL. Not in the parks, not at the room, not at the pool, I must run on pure adrenalin! I will say, when the lights go out at night I sleep like a rock though!
Yup. I'm always soooo hyped I could never sleep in the parks. Actually two years ago was the first time I dozed off during the day at all in WDW...... that was after a swim break we were back at the room getting ready to go out to dinner or another park.. Wife was in the shower, kids were quite on their phones checking face book.....top 7 must dos was on...you know PSC.....yeah I "rested my eyes" for a couple five minutes....

I think that's why I sleep so well at night when at Disney, I'm one of those *power nappers* at home. (10 mins with eyes closed and I'm recharged and ready to go) I think I'm always at the brink of exhaustion at the end of each day at Disney, where sleep is something to be done at night!! LOL

Pioneering the Universe Within!
Nothing, I mean, nothing beats The Universe of Energy for a nice nap. As someone said, it's 38 minutes in a dark, slowly moving vehicle. And, you almost always can have an entire row to yourself (just hang back and board last) which affords you the opportunity to lay down. Brilliant!

At MK, nothing beats Carousel of Progress or HoP. Mind you, I enjoy both of these shows, but when I want a nap, this is where I go.

At DHS, it used to be Sounds Dangerous, but now your best option is Mermaid or the Walt film at One Man's Dream.

DAK is a hard one. Nemo would be ideal (another show I really enjoy), but those seats are soooo uncomfortable, that I don't think I could ever fall asleep if I tried.

I'll drop off shortly after takeoff on the plane ride down, then as soon as we hit Disney property I'm go go go non stop cause theres too much I want to do. Once we get back to the resort, usually late, my head hits the pillow and I'm out. I wake up the next morning and once again it's go go go. It's the same every day while at WDW. Now once I get home, I have to sleep more to recharge from the trip, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
