Mythos

I personally enjoy it, but I know many others who are lukewarm on the place. The atmosphere and interior design are definitely interesting, sometimes distractingly so, but it is of course very unique. The food was pretty average but not quite the markup you might expect, so the value was good. The bread you get is not your average dinner roll, or even bakery loaf bread, but it has an interesting flavor and is actually good. I had the Roman Panini and it was really good (a little spicy for me, but I'm a wimp with spices).

Lukewarm is a perfect description. We ate there and thought it was a slightly above average Applebee's. I am not sure if I would return. I think there are plenty of better options in City Walk and in the Hotels.

Mythos is nice and I would say it is worth a visit, unfortunately the restaurant is only open for lunch.

That's not true. Ate dinner there last time I was in the park at 7 PM.

The place is by far the best theme park restaurant I've ever experienced. Quality to match most of Disney's table services with 1/2 the price.

This pretty much nails it. Is it good? Yes. Is it great? No. Is it some unique thing you'll never see anywhere else? No.. its basically just a rock themed room. Rainforest Cafe is actually much higher themed.

Is it above your normal theme park food? By far. But it's 'greatness' is measured by relativity. Compared to a theme park QS.. it's great. It's a nice meal, but don't break your back trying to make it happen.

Mythos is worth doing mainly because you can use an early supper there to ride out the peak heat/crowd hours of the late afternoon and re-charge to hit the parks in the evening.

I'd hesitate to call the food at Mythos "the best" at any theme park, but only because of the World Showcase restaurants.
Plus, it's much more affordable than any of those. It's curiously underpriced, if you ask me.

It may not be crammed full of animatronics or gimmicks like a place like Rainforest Cafe, but the interior is far more tasteful. Be sure and head around to the back porch too, to check out the rockwork and waterfalls.

So yeah, I'd say do it. Get the pasta or the salmon, a couple of drinks, and take your time.
