MyMagic and Hotel Cancellations

Hi all. I am an AP holder and originally planned to stay on-site with some family visiting from out of town in a few weeks to join them in the benefits of FastPass+.

Turns out they canceled their trip and I am going to do the same with my reservations. My questions are...

I have received my Magic Band and it is already linked to my AP, if I attempt to visit the park before the reservation will I be able to enter by using my magic band? What about after I cancel my reservations? I assume I will lose FP+ privileges, but the magic bands should work, right? All help is appreciated!

I believe so. I am an AP holder as well and I'm on a split reservation for January and will have two separate Magic Bands. I assume you will lose your FP+ privileges as well. But contact Disney directly to find out for sure

As long as your band is linked to your AP, you can use it to enter the park even though you canceled your hotel reservation. If you have already made your FP+, you will not lose them. If you haven't, you should be able to make FP+ the week you plan to go. My next trip isn't until 12/14 (and I already have my FP+ for that week), but as an AP holder I can make FP+ for next week (available on MDE).

I am an AP holder and had to cancel one day off of my room reservation last trip. It had no effect on my fastpass plus selections for that day.
