My wife has applied to Festival of the Masters

My wife has applied to Festival of the Masters under the Emerging Artist category. She started painting last Year and has been in many art shows since. I encouraged her to apply with hopes of making this trip as I think it would be fun.
Is there anyone on here that has participated in this show? What was your experience?

Well we were supposed to be notified on August 3rd if she got in but she received an email today saying that due to unforseen circumstances they will notify artists on August 10th on whether on not they got in. So here we wait another week :-(

Well we were notified initially that she did not get in the Festival of the Masters. However she got an email yesterday that a spot has come open and she has been accepted! So we will be down there for the Festival of the Masters and if you are in the area pop by and say hi!

That is amazing! She must be thrilled! Her art would sell well here in lexington ky. We have a ton of "chic" boutiques that have the same style!
