my trip

So I was on the bus home from MGM and I was watching a deaf guy talk to a girl that he was with, I think this guy was a brother of the bus driver or something like that. My understanding of sign language is far past nothing, but I think he might have said something about a 5th park being built or already in the works! I dont know what kind of park it would be but there was surely something about it.

Ha! That was a lie for all the people that do post that and actually think that they are telling us something new.

Anyways the trip had its ups and downs. My girlfriend was sick, and we went with a couple that I cant stand. I avoided them as much as possible and if there was a possibility that I would have to spend extra time with them I would threaten to go see Star Wars on the spot. I wont bore you with the details of the trip, but Soarin was the most amazing thing that I have ever been on. I had to do it twice. I woke up one morning to get to Epcot early so that I could get a fastpass and ride it later in the day. We did all the major parks and went to Animal Kingdom for extra magic hour, which was amazing because there were so many animals out on the safari. My fun, however, was at Universal Studios. That park is plain crap and is turning more into a Six Flags than anything. We had a hopper so we went to Universal first and walked right onto the Mummy, after we walked up the ramp and were told to go back down to put our bag in the lockers. It was a good ride, nothing fantastic. Then Jaws was good, T-2 was amazing, and ET was broken. Then we walked to Islands. We bought that Express Pass so we walked onto every ride. That pass is 20 bucks and well worth it. As we were leaving this girl stopped me to take a survey about what I thought of the park. And I was dead honest. It was supposed to take 10 minutes, but ended up taking closer to 30. She asked about how clean the park is....it stunk of trash all day and there was garbage flying all over the place. How the prices compare to what you get, that was ok. I did wait for 30 minutes at Wimpys because they only had 1 window opened at lunch time. The whole place was horribly understaffed, everyone there was really ugly. I heard a couple people say how it looks like carnies working there. Then one of the questions was how does it compare to Disney. My answer was not at all, there is no theming, very few charactors (I saw scooby doo out 4 times and no one else) The workers were not very helpful, the merchandise was not appealing, and all you really have are big coasters, once you've done them thats it. She kept harping on the fact that we didnt buy anything but lunch. I sort of felt bad for her because her park is trash compared to Disney. I also went off on the whole locker thing. It is stupid but I do understand why it needs to be there. I wasnt in a bad mood that day either, I had a blast. But everything went downhill when I walked in and securtiy stopped me and said that I have to take my chain off. First its plastic and second it keeps my wallet in. I refused and he started talking but I just walked past.

It was a great trip, it could have been better, but I made the best out of it. Now we are planning a trip for Halloween without the other couple.
