My Trip August 1-8

August 1st

I left around 7am for my 10:30 flight out of JFK, thinking i'll have plenty of time i

in the airport and sit and relax till my flight, well i was wrong. First it was an

hour and a half wait just to get to the check in baggage area. After all that

finally i was ready for my flight and i had about 40 mins to kill so i sat and got

something to eat with the fam. Let me tell ya Folks if i had to choose SONG or

Jetblue, let me tell ya FLY JETBLUE. The planes for SONG are old delta planes

just song pasted everywhere, plus you have to pay for food and snacks which

is not conveniant. We finally landed at about 130 and i was off to Carribean

Beach. No line whatsoever for check in so it was great. The lady who

checked my family in was really nice and gave all of us a free pin and a

coupon for 10% off dinner at shutters the restraunt there. The room i had no

complaints about very nice. Right From there i was off to Epcot. Rode mission

space then test track and soarin hit the big 3 first and hit everything else

after that. And yes my Family was with me. From there we decided to go to

save World Showcase for another day since we had reservations for Roma a

couple days later. We ate at the Espn Club. I enjoyed it alot. very nice

service and the atmosphere there is great. From there we took the Friendship

boat back to Epcot where we Stayed for EMH's. basically hit Test Track Again

and HISTA. Then headed back to the hotel for a swim and headed to sleep .

That is not comforting to know since I will be flying Song out of Newark to Orlando in about a month.... :(

I dunno they already screwed us over once by making our direct flight into a lay-over, it would be my luck for everythign to go wrong and we won't arrive until another 5 hours later

i dunno, everyone talks about how bad delta is, and in 13+ years we have only been stuck once flying standby, and once had to drive back because the plane hit a bird and the lights got wrecked.. BTW i meant safety wise.

oh, I'm not worried safety wise (although that's now going to be a concern festering in teh back of my brain....). What I'm concerned about is everythign else going wrong. Beign stuck with the worlds most annoying people on the flight, missing our connector in Atlanta, losing our luggage, etc. etc. That's the sort of things that happen to me and my mother often

your going through atlanta? hah, id rather fly through hell. good luck.

i hate Atlanta. I wont take delta to Orlando anymore cause I cant get a direct flight. Last year I spent a night in the airport cause we missed our connecting flight.

I always fly delta direct out of Boston or Hartford CT into Orlando. The plane is great all leather seats, tv's etc. Just like jet blue I've flown them both and find them very similar. I usually fly song since I've got 40,000 miles so free unrestricted ticket here I come. They give out free soft drinks but no snacks but I don't eat the peanuts or pretzels anyways so having the option of getting something is nice. When I fly another airline I usually get something in the airport and then bring it on board so no biggie. Both airlines are good but I prefer Song. I guess it's in all what you get. Going through atlanta aint so hot but I haven't had any problems just usually a haul to the next gate. Fly Safe and enjoy once you get there. Flying is the small part of the trip.

Second day
Went to Typhoon Lagoon during the day and i love it every time i go there, crowds were not that bad but blizzard beach was filled up and wasnt reopening till 2pm that day. Crush nGUSHER I LOVED IT!! it is a must ride basically waited 10 mins which wasnt bad. We then left and headed back to the hotel for a shower. MGM we went there and played millionaire and next was gunna be backlot tour and then Bang lol major rain so we just did some shopping. We new we were def coming back to mgm so we decided to go back to the hotel. We then had friends who were staying in orlando to pick us up we had dinner and then went back to there timeshare.

Third Day

Magic Kingdom at night and boy did it start out just great that day. Went over

to magic kingdom at about 3 and were waiting for people we were meeting up

with. well me and my mom were standing in front were the Main street

Station is just inside the ticket gates. Every character was out and the lines

were HUGE i mean HUGE. All of a sudden this one kid ran from no where and

plummeted right into mickey as CM came over to move the kid away i said to

my mom haha look at that kid cutt the whole line and everything. WELL this

random lady who did not no the boy says to me you are a dirtbag kid he just

wanted to see mickey i said who are u (said it a little different there) Get

away from me i dont know u. She then threw water from her waterr bottle at

me. I was ed at that moment. I calmed down and told her to keep

walking. Finally we were off into the park but before i tell u about what i did in

the park i hate RUDE people. Thats the one thing i can't stand and she

annoyed me. But we basically rode everything that night and the night turned out great ending with character dinner in Cyrstal Palace

Fourth and FIFTH DAY
Blizzard beach all day long it was sick i love it there only think SUmmit plummet had a 3 hr wait and i couldnt get on:cry: lol

That night at lunch in Italy MmMMmMMMM So GOOD! Started with a ceasar Salad the best ive ever had! then had The Trio Pasta VERY GOOD and to end off with TIRAMISU MAMMMmmMM

We ended dinner pretty late so after that we did maelstrom, el rid del tiempo and soarin and all throught this time it was poarin o yea i saw Illumination ROE for the first time cause i usually never watch fireworks WEll I LOVED IT and i ended up seeing it 2 times.

Fifth Day
Went to Universal Studios for the day All i will say is Mummy was great and i loved shrek 4d

Sixth and Seventh Day

Animal Kingdom During the day Ive been there alot of times but its never been this crowded there were big lines everywhere! and the heat was bad that day
the one thing with no wait was........................yes kilaminjaro Safaris i was happy it was walk on i remember waiting an hour for that. Kali was a 2 hr wait and we waited.
Nighttime went to MGM ate at Sci fi theatre i love that restraunt one of the my favs. i had the flat iron steak MmMMmM and Fudge sundae for desert.

Rode RnRc and TOT after dinner lol Great movie ride then it was closing time.

Seventh Day Final full day there:(

Went to epcot during the day did EVERYTHING
Ate lunch in san angel inn

Nightime MGM and ate At MY FAV MAMA MELROSE
And thats my trip i left out stuff prob just get bored of tryping lol if ya wanna no anything just ask me

Atlanta connection checklist:
- cross country running shoes
- bagged lunch
- luck

Gate One at Atlantas Hartsfield International Airport is 32 miles away from the Main Concourse . If you think Disney is alot of walking then you're in for a surprise. Also, make sure on the train between gates you don't stick your arm out between the doors. They don't open back up like an elevator and hurt! :lol:

Despite all that we made it to our gate and our luggage made it to Orlando. Both probably only because our flight was delayed an hour. :lookaroun

heh, i'm not so scared anymore we just cancelled our flight with Delta and booked with Continental. Not only do we now have a straight through flight but I also saved us a nice chunk of change as well.

Let me say though you all really motivated me to get off my butt and find another flight that doesn't go through atlanta so...thanks! :kiss:
