I have an idea for 3 new rides in a new land at MGM. They will really tie in to the theme of the Studios. I call this new land, "The Works". Ok, the name is a little off but you can let me know what you think the name should be. The rides deal with the making of movies. The name of the rides are, appropriately enough, Lights, Camera, and Action.
LIGHTS:
This ride will focus on how lighting is used in the movies. Since MGM won't be with Disney anymore, these ride scenes will all be from Disney/Miramax or whatever movies. The ride system will be an omnimover. Guests board to see the different ways lighting can affect movie scenes. They will see the low mysterious lighting from crime scenes, the dark lighting used for night scenes, the bright lighting used for day scenes, and the very bright lights that are usually used to represent Heaven. The scenes will be filled with Audio-Animatronics. I'm not sure what movies they will come from, but I will think about it.
CAMERA:
This will focus on how cameras are used in the movies. The ride system will be trackless, much like Peter Pan. It will move your vehicle to see from the camera's point of view. There could be a scene from Mary Poppins from where she flies in, and a scene from A Bug's Life looking down at the colony from a bird's eye view. There could also be a screen area where you can zoom in on a person and also where you zoom out really far.
ACTION:
This will be the thrill ride of the land. The ride system will be similar to that of Dinosaur. You can ride around to experience the high action events from different movies. There could be a tornado scene, a cliff diving scene, and a wave storm scene.
