My parents won a Segway!

My parents were the 10,000th people to take the segway tour and they were given a segway! It is worth Approx. $5,000!! They called me today and told me they were on stage and they got helmets with mickey ears on them and some pins i think. I can't believe it!!!

well, just take the year number that the tours started and subtract that from 2005, then add that number to 2005 and there is you estimated next 10,000........ rough estimate :lol:

would be fun to win. it also would be neat if you could always take yours in Epcot since you won it there. probably not a good idea..... id be the jealous one that would throw a stick in your spokes so you would bust, then id jump on it and drive off. ahhh, wishful thinking

When did they win it? My Brother In Law and Sister In Law are in WDW now and were due to take the tour either yesterday or today. That is pretty cool...

When I was a kid I was supposed to win a car. It was when you were given a ticket and they were giving away a car a day, not sure what promotion (I was like 8) -- I had run ahead of my parents who had slowed down because my cousin was throwing a tantrum so we had to slow down. The ticket taker who also gave out the entries took one ticket out, threw it on the ground and then pulled out the next one to give to the well dressed people infront of us(an elderly/aged couple wearing a suit/dress). A photographer came out and took their picture (I don't remember it but to this day my parents still call foul and think the couple was planted) -- BUT if we hadn't had to slow down one of us would have won it (Party of 7). Oh well, even if we had won it, it wouldn't be worth anything now!

They took the tour on monday, It will be shipped to their house. They picked a red one. They already sent it to our local paper that came today! They come back on saturday. Here is the pic
