I saw other people have proposals for their own design of Theme Parks here's my shot at it:

First off is Fantasyland:

The entrance to this fantasyland would be a HUGE Castle themed to all the pre-existing Disney Castles and would be simply called the "Princess Chateu" as it would have elements from all of the castles of all the Disney Princesses. It would contain the Audio-Animatronic show, Beauty and The Beast. the interiro of the Castle would have several murals and statues of all the Disney Princesses with particualr attention to Beauty and the Beast as it is the show building for the show. It would also contain a couple of gift shops which sell items exclusive to the shops. (one would be a book store that is themed to Belle's library). when you go through the castle you would notice that there is a special shrine for each Disney princess carved in the pillars while a life-size statue of Belle and the Beast would be suspended in a glass casing on top of it(this would be the centerpiece of the second floor which doubles as both a walkthrough and the exit of the AA show)

Now on to the dark rides:

There will be the classic dark rides such as Snow White's Scary Adventures

but there will also be new dark rides like Mary Poppins

Side by side would be the drak rides themed to Pinocchio and Toy Story whose exits would be the same special Toy Store.

There would also be the classics: "It's a Small World", "Dumbo Flyers", The Carousel (themed to cinderella and the over-all building would be themed to a glass pumpkin), and the Tea Cups

It would aslo feature Alice's Curious Labyrinth from Paris

fantasyland would have a special mini-land called "The Enchanted Forest" This would feature a huge play area themed to the "100 Acre Woods" from Winnie the Pooh as both the queue and play area for "Pohh's Hunny Hunt" taken from tokyo. The "woods" would have full-scale recreations of the houses of the Winnie the Pooh Characters and some Dumbo-like rides themed to Bees guarding their Honey.

other features of the "enchanted Forest" would be a small storytelling show featuring a talking inter-active Grandmother Willow (from Pocahontas) who would tell stories by means of puppetry and live actors.

Also included would be a magic show from Merlin's cottage from "The Sword In the Stone" where he would showcase "Lucky the Dragon" (an altered version of Lucky the Dinosaur)

This would aslo hold the first entrance for the Kingdom Hearts ride that I thought of (details are in a separate thread also here in the imagineer board)

That's all for now next I will discuss the "Shadowlands" and "NeverLand" as well as the upgraded "Fantasmic!" I thought of for the lake in between Neverland, The Enchanted forest, and Shadowlands.

North of the Enchanted Forest, the trees show evil faces and a great rusted old gate has been broken down. You have now entered the "Shadowlands" a haven for the most vile and sinister characters of Fantasyland.

Here, you go past a huge bridge and see the sinister Forbidden Mountain standing tall amidst the waters of the Fantasy Lagoon. As you go past the shadow of the mountain you see a tall fortress topped by a crooked tower belching smoke as if something lives with in it. All over you see dozens of dead trees framing dark looking houses.

This is Shadowlands home of two e-ticket attractions as well as the centerpiece of the park's halloween festivities.

The two e-tickets are "The Forbidden Mountain", a flume ride where guests board the boats of Hades and stumble upon a convention of Disney's most famous villains.

The other would be "Dragon Tower", where guests would be taken by a band of bats to steal hidden treasure from a castle guarded by an evil dragon.

Other attractions in the park would be "The Sanderson Sisters' House" taken from the 1993 Disney movie, Hocus Pocus, featuring Bette Middler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimi. where the 3 hilarious witches would have concerts and play with the children....be careful though. Also watch out for the talking cat Binks.

Meanwhile, West of the Enchanted Forest is "Neverland" the land of dreams and adventure.

The entrance to Neverland would be a bridge found between the dark ride Peter Pan's Flight and The huge Pirates of the Carribean complex which contains both the original ride as well as a restorant themed to the old Spanish Forts used by Pirates in the past.

NeverLand would be a playground much like Tom Sawyer Island with Skull Rock, and The Lost Boys' Lair (inspired by the Robin Williams/Dustin Hoffman movie "Hook")

Anotehr Feature of Neverland would be the Mermaid Lagoon which features the musical show "Voyage of The Little Mermaid" an enhanced version of the MGM Studios show.

Now, in the borders of these three mini-lands (The Enchanted Forest, Shadowlands, and Neverland) would be a lagoon called "Fantasy Lagoon" every night the Enchanted Forest Amphitheater, which looks out to the lagoon which is enclosed by Neverland Mountain and the Forbidden Mountain, would be the main viewing area for the park's nightly show, "Fantasmic!" which is a greatly updated version of the Disneyland original which comprises of segments from the park's most famous attractions.

The attractions that would be showcased in this Fantasmic! would be:

Festival of the Lion King, Magic Lamp Theater, The Haunted Mansion, the 3 princess musicals (Mermaid, B&B, and Snow White), Pirates of the Carribean, Grandmother Willow's Storytime, Frontierland, Mickey's Philharmagic.

That's it for now, Later I will detail my plans for Adventureland.

Sounds like you have some VERY creative ideas here! I like the idea of Shadowlands and Neverland! BTW, there was an ongoing rumor of a villians park, or Magic Kingdom land called Shadowlands to be added at WDW. No idea of how this rumor got started! :veryconfu

Anyway, you're definitely off to a good start! I'd love to see the rest of your theme park ideas soon! :)

The premise of neverland is to serve as a transition for both fantasyland and Adventureland

Adventureland would be located north-west of the park and would hold a great variety of E-tickets.

The lands most complex attraction would be "Safari Adventure" a huge out-door safari area divided into 2 experiences: Jungle Trek and Jungle Cruise.

Now the Jungle Cruise would be the same Jungle Cruise from the original Magic Kingdoms which takes you on a cruise on the rivers of the world.

Jungle Trek would be an AA version of Kilimanjaro Safaris which goes through the jungles of the world.

The story would be set that two rival safari companies would fight for the attention of the guests. Bith the Cruise and the Rover would occassionally run into each other taunting each other along the way. Of course with all Disney rides, something goes terribly wrong, The Cruise goes off course and find themsleves in a snake infested temple full of treasure which is about to be stolen by a bunch of mercenaries.

the Rover group learns about this and goes to the Cruise's rescue, in the end both the Rover and the Cruise would arrive back safely in their respective ports.

Other E-tickets would be Indiana Jones Adventures: Temple of the crystal Skull, a ride similar to TDS

Also from Tokyo DisneySea wuld be the 3-D show Magic Lamp Theater which involves the Genie from Aladdin.

The center-piece of Adventureland would be the Enchanted Tikki, A Huge roofed Area based on the Enchanted Tikki Room, except outdoors. every 30 minutes, AA birds would come to life and sing the songs from the enchanted Tikki room as well as modern songs as well. There would be hidden fountains surrounding the area that would start along with the music. ANd at night, watch out for the Tikki Ceremony mini-show where the ancient Tikki Goddess herself would conduct her orchestra of birds along with light and water effects.

Also in Adventureland would be Expedition: Everest.....'nuff said

"The Festival of The Lion King" from Animal kingdom would also find a home in this Adventureland.

One of the most unique make-ups for a MK/Disneyland style park I have seen on these boards.

A few comments though:

1) I would separate your Pooh area from the rest of the Enchanted Forest, while I like the sub-land itself Pooh really doesn't fit with Merlin and Grandmother Willow. No harm really in splitting this area up, you could have the 100 Acre Woods and the Enchanted Grove or Thicket (if you think having two woods would be redundant)

2) Not really fond of the name Princess Château. One I think most peoples impression of a château is the Alp kind, not the fact that is is French for castle. Also Princess?, I know it seems Disney names their castles after specific Princesses (Cinderella Castle, Sleeping Beauty Castle), but really these are the names of the Fairytale them selves. Note in Disneyland it's not Princess Auroa castle, but the name Walt bestowed upon the movie. Why not rather just call it Fairytale Castle or something along those lines instead.

Other than that keep up the good work

Thanks so much that's so nice of you and to all the positive comments thanks so much.

Yeah the Princess thing doesn't really click I'm considering re-naming it Fantasyland Castle or something along those lines that would make it the symbol of Fantasyland.

Frontierland would be a melting pot of Disneyland's New Orleans Square, MK's Liberty Square, and DLP's Thunder Mesa

The Town of New Liberty (cheesy name eh?) sets the stage for the new frontier as you stroll through historic buildings and the aroma of good 'ol country cuisine fills the air. You can take a ride through the Liberty Belle and enjoy the sites this land has to offer.

But beware for just across the boarders of this pristine little american town, in the heart of Big Thunder Valley, lies the ruins of the old mining village ravaged by savages and outlaws and at the very edge of this ghost town lies the old Mansion in which strange and spooky things happen. This old village serves as a stern reminder to the people of New Liberty that savages must not be taken lightly.

To keep the town protected, they have constructed the great "Fort Wilderness" to guard the town from the wilds of the new Frontier.

Now Frontierland could be subdivided into 3 minor divisions: New Liberty, The Old Mining Town(or Big Thunder Valley), and Fort Wilderness.

New Liberty would be a entertainment and dining district where restaurants serve authentic-style classic American cuisine. it would also be the home of Splash Mountain

The Old Mining Town would be the home of 2 E-ticket attractions:
The Haunted Mansion, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Fort Wilderness would both be a play area and a gigantic pre-show to a new attraction.

Based on Kali River Rapids in AK, "Western River Run" would take you to explore the truth about these supposed "savages" and dangers of the "wild" It would be themed to not one, but two Disney animated features 'Brother Bear' and 'Pocahontas'

Here are some more details about the "Enchanted Forest" this would also serve as a huge garden area whose paths wind all over the place and would have "recreations" of scenes from Disney movies which takes place in Forests, like:
Alice talking to the Cheshire Cat, this would be put in an are close to ALice's Curious Labyrinth,
Aurora singing with her animal friends, when you go near this sections you would vaguely hear her voice echoing through the forest just like it did with prince Philip.
Snow White singing in a well, Although this does not take place in a Forest, the whole scene just screams magic!
Maurice getting lost, this would be very very near to the transition area between the Enchanted Forest and the Shadowlands.
There could also be Dumbo sleeping against a tree, Cinderella meeting her Fairy Godmother for the first time (although this would be highly unlikely since Cinderella will have her "own" garden in the park...more on that soon...)

The area would also have magical talking fountains in which you would suddenly find yourself talking to a fairy who asks you for a wish in return for visiting her fountain. There would also be "Gossiping Willows" who joke and gossip at passers-by, oh and watch out for the "pooping" birds.

East of Fantasyland, just beside the Hundred Acre Woods, lies ToonTown, the city of Cartoons. Here you will find the houses of your favorite Disney characters as well as some fun new attractions. Ride a tour bus through toontown with your driver Roger Rabit, or if you wish, take your own vehicle and drive yourself across the entire city with the characters from "Cars". You could even visit Scrooge McDuck's Zillion dollar mansion and see how the rich and famous of toontown live, or maybe you would prefer fighting crime with the Incredibles?

Anyway, Toowntown is subdivided into 2: The Residential Area, where you would find Mickey and co.'s houses, and Toontown City where all the E-tickets are.

The rides are as follows:
McDuck Mansion - A dark ride, Huey, Dewie, and Louie takes you on a "private" tour of their Uncle's mansion but suddenly, the Beagle Boys try to rob the vault, Can you save Uncle Scrooge before it's too late?

Gadget's Go-Coaster - Similar to DL

Cars - Autopia with a "Cars" overlay. based on the upcoming Disney/Pixar movie, you ride talking, interactive cars through toontown.

Roger Rabbit's Bus Tours - An innovative new ride that involves you riding a bus and seeing cartoon images from the front and sides of the bus come to life. Roger Rabbit gives a tour of Toontown......'nuff said

There should also be an Incredibles ride but I'm waiting 'till I see the movie to "imagineer" one :D

Okay, well the true gem of Toontown is not the rides or the "celebrity" homes but the star restaurant of the "land"

"The House of Mouse"
This special restaurant is open as an average eatery all day but it is at night that this truly shines. based on the Mickey Mouse cartoon show of the same name, every night, The House of Mouse becomes an exclusive sit down restaurant which takes you "inside" the show. Here your waiters and servers are various Disney characters who can talk and inter-act with you (of course they should, they're the ones taking the orders and giving y'all the food) there would be a full show each night, hosted by Mickey himself where they would show various Mickey cartoons and performances from some of your favorite Disney Characters. The walls inside would also be specialized as it would change colors and lighting through out the night to suit the music (much like that restaurant in the Disney Cruise lines)

examples of shows would have Timon and Pumbaa singing, Max Goof and his rockband, Ursula singing to big band music, Sebastian's concert.

Another bonus is in nights after Fantasmic! the disney characters featured in the show would also be seen dining in the House of Mouse :D

I like toon town, but I don't think any Pixar related stuff belongs here. Toon Town focuses specificly on ink and paint animated characters like they do in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" which Toon Town is pretty much based on.

Ya, I'd have to agree here, part of the magic of toon town is the 3-D world of a typically 2-D medium, doing the same thing with 3-D animations just wouldn't have the same effect.

Additionally, there isn't really that much toony about any of the Pixar films it seems like it would just be out of place.

Possible re-placements then:

What about a Lenny the Cab overlay on the Autopia with other Toontown like environments to drive through

Instead of the Incredible, why not re-place with some sort of a Goofy ride, like a Goofy Ski-School or such akin to the classic "how to" films.

I think you do have good ideas for the pixar rides and I do like them, but I think they should be separate from Toontown, maybe you could add an additional land. Not sure what at the moment but when I think of something I'll let you know.

Although I have given a thought about creating a sort of Pixar land, I felt that I would be cramming too much lands in my park already what with the addition of Neverland, The Enchanted Forest, and the Shadowlands. But I do like the idea.

Anyway the reason I wanted to put "Cars" in was because Imagineering really is plotting to put a Cars overlay on Autopia :)

Anyway, I just saw the Incredibles (just got back from the cinema actually :D) and it was awesome!!! I already have a storyline for a proposed attraction for it. But you guys are indeed correct that pixar does not belong to Toontown so I've decided to scrap the Incredibles in Toontown idea and turn into Darkwing Duck...that or Talespin (the one with Baloo as a deliveryboy)

I'll put up my plans for Tomorrowland later which is set to the theme of a "Time's Square" of the future.

I've never been much for names of people let alone fictional cars, but I did get it off an attraction description site........ :veryconfu

It could seem like a bit much land wise, but weren't Neverland, Enchanted Forest ect, umbrellaed under Fantasyland? With that inclusion it really wouldn't seem like all that many lands. Plus really that is more of a marketing thing anyways, actual attraction wise that could be more of a major concern however......

If you wanted to do it though, I did a little research and found that West Cutting Blvd. is not only the street Pixar Studios is on, but it is also mentioned in Toy Story. One possibility would be to have an off-chute of Main Street dubbed thus West Cutting Blvd. align the street could be Andy's House, with a larger than life play set of Andy's room, a car dealer ship which gives way to a car's ride, a Pond with a Nemo ride, also the Par residence, which would give way to whatever Incredible ride you have thought of, slowly they street gives way to an industrial district where it dead ends into a factory that seems like it has something to hide, indeed closer inspecting would reveal a front for a satellite factory owned by Monster's Inc, and a whole nother adventure lies with in it's gates.

Granted this is a bit of overkill on Pixar rides really 2 or 3 of these rides would be sufficient for a small land. Also West Cutting Blvd, may not be the best name for the land, but between working out all my Mechanical Design Lab work, and Dynamic Systems and Controls assignments I haven't put much time into this, really just about the 3 min I have taken to type this now ..... but it is a seed of thought none the less

Ya, I saw the pre-show for the Autopia with the "Cars"-esqu queue items, though honestly since it is in Tommorowland, I hope they don't do such a thematic overlay.

I was thinking about Tale Spin too, if was say 10 years ago( has it been that long? ) I would say yes in a heart beat, while I know a popular subject is not a must for a popular ride, it does need to atleast be based off a popular general theme. I would worry if either Darkwing duck or tail spin would be enough attraction to get people through the turnstiles to learn of what ever possible great story telling may be there.

I've decided to put much of my Pixar related ideas on the shelf for another theme park I thought of (one of them is a roller coaster themed to Finding Nemo's E.A.C. and a Soarin' type ride where you "soar" through the ocean)

Although the "Cars" autopia would remain in Toontown mostly because the premise of the movie itself is very very cartoony anyway.

Tomorrowland would be a "glimpse of the future" as guests would go through a world in which "the universe is our neighbor" Here you would see Aliens walking around and doing business with the locals (all the cast members in this area would be different types of Aliens who would work the restaurants, shop etc..) This land would virtually be a whole new theme park in which all the merchandise and food and other offerings are unique to this side of the park alone with video walls, kinetic sculptures and animated electronic billboards.

The attractions in this land range from the classics:
-Astro Orbiter
-Space Mountain
-Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
-Flying Saucers
-Tomorrowland Skyway
-Star Tours

To the not-so classics:
-Plektu's Galactic Revue - A musical animatronic extravaganza in which animals from different parts of the universe wow you with their tricks and showmanship.

-Alien Encounter - Much like the WDW ExtraTerrorrestrial attraction only this time the ALien in the tube is someone we know and fear (think Sigourney Weaver)

-Tomorrowland Zoo - This is a huge area ladden with some of the most imaginative and advanced AAs in the park which depict various space creatures "imported" from various regions of the galaxy.

There is also a special afternoon show called "Stitch Attacks!"where Stitch would be seen ravaging Tomorrowland (in the middle of a Mickey and friends show) and have all the "Stromtroopers" (the 'police' in Tomorrowland) chase after him. then later on we would see Gizmo Duck (from Duck Tales) "try" to save the day. Also we would see Stitch fight with Darth Vader and Darth Maul. Keep in mind though that this show would have nothing to do with the continuity of the movies in which they came from originally...just good clean fun.

The entertainment offerings in the park would be quite varied here is a quick rundown:

Daytime:

The Disneyland Parade - A parade which shows off all the park has to offer.

Woody's Round-Up - Frontierland, featuring characters from Toy Story 2

Sword in The Stone - the original

Primate Invasion - Adventureland, the monkeys from various Disney Movies invade Adventureland in a musical streettacular

Nighttime:

MSEP - an enhanced version of the DL original

Stitch Attacks! - (see above post)

Blazing Rythms - Adventureland, the ancient Tikki Goddess herself would conduct her orchestra of birds along with light, fire and water effects. "The Enchanted Tikki Room"

Nights of Romance: A Cinderellabration - A Princess concert in the Castle forecourt stage which features all 7 Disney princesses (including Rapunzel) in a musical celebration honoring the coronation of Cinderella (an enhanced version of the Tokyo night show)

Fantasmic! A Night of Disney Magic - A greatly enhanced version of the Disneyland original featuring segments from the park's most famous attractions. Located in Fantasy Lagoon.

Wishes - A version of the WDW fireworks show.

Thank you very much for your comments KentB3, I'm so glad you like what I've done :)

Well here's the synopsis of the new Fantasmic! which I modified for my MK

As always, Fantasmic! is the showcase of Mickey's wild imagination. This particular version expands on that and would be the star attraction of evenings in the park ( Neverland, The Enchanted Forest and Shadowland, lands which have a significant amount of e-ticket attractions would be closed for this show). The show would also utilize a lot of elements from shows from all over the park itself like the actors and cast-members for the various daytime shows and musicals.

The biggest mechanical component of the show, along with the fountains, would be the giant barges that role in and out of the valley formed by the mountain of Neverland and The Ride exterior of The Forbidden Mountain.

there are 3 different barges for the show, The Stage barge is the smallest and consists of a stage with trapdoors on it, The second would be the Cave of Wonders barge which doubles as a gigantic screen, The largest would be the mountain barge which rises up to 55 feet at water level.

The show starts off with Mickey Mouse magically appearing out of the stage barge which is set in the middle of the valley. Mickey takes the stage as the conductor as the fantasmic theme fills the air. Along with him, fountains follow the melody.

This then followed by the first mist screen (the mist screens are not like the old Fantasmics wear 3 screens serve for the 3 different viewing angles, here we have 5 mist screens that form one gigantic screen) which shows the "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" portion of the show followed later by the flowers portion in which we see a faint image of ballet dancers dancing in the stage.

The stage suddenly lights up as all four floats from "The festival of The Lion King" show in Adventureland are on the main stage as they sing a medley of songs from both The Lion King and The Jungle Book. We also see barges floating through the lagoon with "glowing" monkeys and other animals.

Suddenly the animals fall silent as Mickey (wearing his Safari uniform) stumbles upon a Magic Lamp which he rubs....

The lamp begins the glow and squirt smoke and suddenly we see an image of Genie's head projected by laser on the side of The Forbidden Mountain.

This leads to the "Friend Like Me" segment of the show with performers wearing deifferent costumes magically popping out of the stage. (Note that Mickey is very prominent in most of the segments with different costumes, here we see him go from his Safari outfit to one similar to Aladdin's) Suddenly out of nowhere the music changes into the "Topsy Turvy" theme from "Hunchback of Notre Damme" with even more performers this time using different "topsy turvy" masks.

Suddenly, we hear thunder and the mist screens return showing the segment from Fantasia which features Zeus going nuts with rain and thunder and lightning. This creates a flood that takes Mickey into the darkness.

A cannon blast signals the start of the "Pirates of the Carribean" segment where the Black Pearl sails in from the middle of the valley and the Interceptor sails in from the left side of the lagoon. Here, we hear Capt. Jack Sparrow threatening to steal the Black pearl.
As the two ships cross paths the pirates "swing" into action with the thundering blasts of cannons and swordfights.
The segment finishes with the rescue of Kiera Knightley's character and the take-over of the Black Pearl.

A single Mist screen appears in the middle of the valley showing Grandmother Willow as she tells Mickey to "listen with his heart"

The place darkens and The two Mountains that form the lagoon valley sparkle as the "Princess Medley" begins featuring the main characters from Beauty and The Beast, The Little Mermaid and Snow White, during this segment, the audience is bathed in projections of roses, bubbles and fluttering butterflies.

Mickey's dream continues on its journey as eerie music begins and the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs concocts a spell amidst pyrotechnics and other special effects. She invokes some of the most infamous Disney Villains to wreak havoc on Mickey's dream (a continuation of their plan from the storyline of the Forbidden Mountain) We see a single mist screen project the image of Madam Leota from The haunted Mansion as she calls upon the lost souls to dance away on the stage. After a short ballroom number with the haunted mansion ghosts, the right mist screen shows Jafar saying that "It's time to say goodbye to Mickey" and with this, we see the gigantic Cave of Wonders in the middle of the valley and projected on its mouth is Mickey Mouse flying away from the lava in the cave.

As lava fills the cave's mouth, another mist screen appears this time with Hades saying that he has one more surprise. And the entire stadium darkens as we hear the music of "A Night in Bald Mountain" from Fantasia fill the air. Glow in the dark skeletons then suddenly appear RIGHT IN FRONT of the audience walking and running all over the place. A mist screen suddenly appears with Chernabog conducting his undead minions.

We then see Maleficent unexpectedly transforming into a 40-foot-tall fire-breathing dragon who sets the waters ablaze. Mickey manages to create a wall of water around the island, smothering the flames and defeating the dragon as well as all the other villains

The giant Mist screen returns to show Tinker Bell spread Pixie Dust all over the stadium as not only the mountains are sparkling but the Enchanted Forest behind you as well. Suddenly out of the blue, the Liberty Belle Riverboat shows up doubling as steamboat WIllie (you all know this part) although it may come as a shock since the riverboat is usually seen on the southwestern part of the park all the way back in Frontierland.

And right under our noses, we don't notice the gigantic mountain barge rolling into place at the middle of the valley.....you can all guess what happens next :)
