In December 2003 my brother in law and my sister and I will all be going to WDW together. Here is how I am planning it. Of course we all know that it doesn't always work that way.

We get on the plane in Detroit and board the plane. Then we arrive at Orlando after an estimate of two hours. We check into our on site (not sure which one) hotel room. We then head for Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom day 1- We go on the monorail and then get off and head for Main Street where we shop through the stores on the left side. We take a vehicle to the Castle and take a picture and eat breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. The we head into Adventureland where we ride Jungle Cruise (picture of lions, rhinos, hippos and Elephants). We ride Pirates of the Caribbean where I take a picture of the ship and the skeleton who steers the boat. We ride Carpets of Aladdin and I take a pic of the veiw and other carpets. Then I look in the bazaar for souvenirs that are actually good. We go into the Tiki Room and watch the show. Then on we go to Frontierland. We get a fastpass for Splash Mt. and head for Country Bear Jamboree. I take a picture. Then we ride Splash and I take a picture right before we fall. We get a fastpass for Big Thunder and head for Tom Sawyers. We go through the cave and then we head back back to Big Thunder. I take a picture when we come down the Mt. top. Afterwords we head for Liberty Square. I take a picture of the presidents at Hall of Presidents and then a picture of Maddam Leota in Haunted Mansion. We then exit to Fantasyland. We ride Small World and Peter Pan's flight and Snow White's Scary Adventures. I take a picture of Snow White and Peter Pan. We go ride the Teacups and we take pics of each other on it. We then take pics of Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Belle. We shop in Cinderella's Castle. We see Phillarmagic where I will take plenty of pictures. And we ride Winnie the Pooh. Before we exit Fantasyland we ride Dumbo and the Carousel. In Mickey's Toontown Fair I get a picture of Donald Duck and me. Then we ride the Barnstormer. We then head to Tomorrowland where we get a fast pass for Space Mt. while we ride CoP. Then we go to Space Mt. and I take a picture of the launch zone. We then ride timekeeper and Alien Encounter. And we then head for Space Ranger Spin and have fun on it. Then onward to Main Street. We watch the Parade from the partners statue area. And then the fireworks too. We head for the hotel y boarding the boat which is usually less full. We go back to the hotel get our stuff ready for tomorrow.

We wake up and get around and head out for Epcot.

Epcot Day 2- We arrive and head right for Test Track. We hop on and give it a whirl. Afterwards I take pictures of us standing in front of it. Then on to Mission Space! (YEAH!) After we ride it I take a picture of us standing in front of it. Then it is on to Wonders of life pavilion. After we visit the Universe of Energy. Both of these places of course I take a picture of us and the building. Then Spaceship Earth is next. Then on to The Living Seas, picture before we go in. After that we head for the land. Of course I have to see the Circle of Life which is my favorite at Epcot. Then picture time and on to Imagination pavilion. Picture time and then we walk on to Mexico. But before we do we stand beside the Snow White bush formation and take pictures. And go to Ice Station Cool. Then on to Mexico. We go all around world Showcase riding the rides and watching the movies and of course seeing the moving statues. Then we go back to the Living Seas for Dinner. And before the parade or fireworks show begins we go to Innoventions. Then we quickly to America. And then boom! Illuminations begins. Along with the Tapestry of Dreams Parade. Many pictures are taken and then we head back to the hotel. And dream of tomorrow.

Sounds good, but a couple things you should know:
1) By Dec. 03 Tapestry of Dreams will probably be gone! :(
2) Unless things change, much of Future World closes at 7 not 9 like the rest of the park
3) You are going in Dec. it's very crowded then (even Epcot)
4) It sure sounds like your doing a lot, I dont know if you have been here before but Epcot is really big, so make sure you have plenty of walking time!

Um, are you sure you want to plan to this level of detail? It only sets you up to not have as much of a magical experience...leave time to do things spontaneously and don't expect to fit in every little thing in one trip. Having an itinerary is good, planning out every minute leads to frustration.

*fast pass to save time :D
*Make sure you give yourself enough time to get from the Seas to American Adv, it's quite a walk! Approx 1.5 miles around WSC alone.
*If there's a long line for SE, go back after lunch. there's usually 0 wait later in the afternoon.
*You can do a Candlelight dinner package (I'm assuming it'll be running while you're there)
*American Adventure at (various times during day, approx 40 min show), make sure you check out Voices of Liberty of American Vybe before the AA show.
*Illuminations at 9:00. Scope out a spot in Italy, and when the show's over stay in Italy for 20 minutes or so. When you leave later you won't deal with the massive crowds plus you get to see Epcot when's there peace and quiet. It's actually quite nice to see the pavilions all lit up at night with no one around. Kinda makes you feel like the park's all yours :D

Structure is good for a Disney trip, but you don't want so much that it restricts you. "Splash Mountain was scheduled for 3:03 pm! It's 3:10pm! We have to skip it because we are supposed to be on the Haunted Mansion by 3:15pm!" Can't do that, for example...no fun. It would be better to pick the days you want to go to each park and look at a map, creating a logical way to see attractions without constantly having to sprint. Also, you cannot predict Floridian weather, so have a Plan B and a Plan C--Disney can be great in the rain, due to shorter lines, but you have to know what to do with your rainy day--MOST attractions run in the rain, but not all, so check on that. Luckily you are planning a ways ahead, so you have time :) Good luck (it is actually quite fun planning a trip...almost as fun as the trip itself!)!

You want to talk about a crowd!!! I think you are setting yourself up for a fall. December was a great time to go. Spring Break??? No way! You couldn't pay me to go at that time. Your minute to minute calendar is going to hour to hour. Take my advice, go at another time. I think you will enjoy it so much more!! Just my opinion!
