Yep, I finally did it. It's my first tattoo. I've been talking about it for years, but I've only recently decided to go for a Disney themed tattoo, and Epcot is my favorite of the parks by a lot. I've already sold my soul with DVC, so I figured this was no big deal! :ROFLOL:

So, what do you guys think? Picture was taken literally minutes after she finished. It's on my ankle, by the way.

#1- I'm not sure on tattoo laws but I doubt that they need permission to tattoo everything in mankinds history.

#2- Do you complain about everything?

Uh-oh - I better get my Superman tattoo removed. Wouldn't want myself or the tattoo parlor to get sued by DC Comics.

Infringement is infringemen, and a lot of vendors are being more careful given the IP climate nowadays. So excuse me for asking the question. Some of you might might recall a tattoo artist who filed a copyright claim enforcing his rights in his own design last year. So it's a bit ironic that most tattoo artists seem to "look the other way" when it comes to copying the protected designs of others.

Scroll way down to entry #47, which was posted by a Florida tattoo shop owner. Here's the key point (copied as posted):

"disney sued a number of florida shops a few years back. the decision was that you can tattoo anything you want on a person (in relation to copyright and trademark) but you may not advertised it. the copyright extends to the walls of the shop but not the skin"
