My New Disneyfied Cell Phone

I'm so excited because we finally got GSM after all these years of being stuck on TDMA. We used to have this awesome plan that we got four years ago in which we had 3000 anytime minutes, 3000 night & weekend minutes, and partner lines were only $10 each. But my phone recently started acting up (my second phone, which I've had for barely a year; Motorola V60t Colour = bad) and I didn't want to spend $130 for the only TDMA phone they had when I really wanted GSM. So we finally got a new plan the other night. This one has 900 anytime minutes, unlimited night & weekend minutes, free mobile to mobile, free long distance, and partner lines are still only $10 each. And I got my new phone. It's a Nokia 3220 and just so happens to be the same one my boyfriend has. It's loud (polyphonic ringtones!), lights up, vibrates, and is all around just awesome.

I've already downloaded a few Disney ringtones: The Tiki Room, There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow, & Once Upon A Dream. I will probably get the MSEP and Sorcerer's Apprentice soon.

The back cover comes off and you can customize the little slip of paper that goes in it. Anyone who's gotten a WDW hotel reservation recently (pre-HCOE) recognizes this particular Tinker Bell.

I made this image from a Fantasia screencap, edited in Photoshop, uploaded to my site, and downloaded to my phone. I love faeries.

My phone is so Disneyfied and I love it. I've been so jealous of all you people out there with the Disney ringtones (my old phone had Under the Sea but in mono) and wallpapers and whatnot. But now I can have them too!

Mine plays the Tigger song too! It was the first one I downloaded.

And it plays Fantasmic if I have voice mail, zip a dee doo dah if I have a text message, and Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life for Me for unidentified callers.

My current screen saver is sorcerer mickey, but I have several tiggers that I also tend to rotate and a stitch.

I love my Cell phone. I have so many Disney cartoon pics I downloaded & dso many Disney Ringers. Every one has a Disney tone!!

It depends on what service you have. I don't remember with sprint, I think it was a category under one of the basic download sites. With verizon, I go to "get it now" and under the shopping cart logo choose "get tones". From there, choose "fun tones" and about half way down the screen there are Disney's Magic Kingdom collection and Disney's Pixar collection. Each one has a collection of screen savers and ring tones.

If you have a way of connecting your phone to your PC, then you can get ringtones for free. The ones I use are just some basic MIDI files I found.

I was looking to get the exact same phone through Cingular. The only thing I was worried about was that people were saying that there is not much memory and if you want to use the camera and video or download ringtones you need to delete a lot! How is the memory? Also if i am not mistaken there is a voice memo feature where you can record a memo and set it as a ringtone. how many minutes of video can you get in? glad to hear you love your phone!

If you delete a lot of the random stuff that comes on the phone (wallpapers, ringtones, videos, etc) that you don't like, it frees up a lot of memory. I've had no space issues and I have several ringtones, graphics, and pictures on my phone. Yes, you can record a voice memo and set it as your ringtone. I'm not sure about the video feature because I don't use it. It's a great little phone. Myself, my boyfriend, my mom, my dad, and my friend all have this phone. It has great reviews all over the internet. It's great to customize. I love it.
