Hey Guys!:

As some of you know, i am hoping to pursue a career in Film Making and Directing. In the last week or so, i have come up with some ideas of possible films. One of which is called "Clues of a dead Man", which is due to start filming in the summer (after my exams) and should take around 3-4 months before release. Sorry i can't quite tell you the storyline yet, but trust me, it's good. I have made a trailer for this film which you can see by clicking the link below, you can rate if you feel necessary:

In addition to this, i made a short film about the nature we see in the world today (shot in my back garden). It's only 2 minutes long, but has some nice music to accompany the shots of the various plants etc. Special Thanks to John and Cypress Creek High School for thier lovely instrumental. You can see this film below, you can rate if you feel necessary:

Enjoy! :) These are only the first 2 of my films, but as with anything, practice makes perfect.

Sam

p.s Sorry if i'm breaking any rules such as advertising etc.

The trailer is interesting. Gets one's attention.

Nature, less so. Static views are not the best subject for a moving medium when there are better definition options available. Nothing wrong wrong with it, but it would have made a better slide slow.

Keep us up to date with "Clues"

No worries - keep playing and experimenting - at least with video you can go over the tape again. Something that was not available in the old days of Super8 film

Yep haha, i can imagine that would be very costly for a full movie. You seem to speak from experience, have you been a film maker or something?

When I was around your age (give and take a few years) I used to play around with Super 8. Making short movies and doing plasticine animation.

I really enjoyed the editing. There was something really satisfying cutting up the film, organising it, physically handling it and then splicing it all back together.

Sadly, due to a huge misunderstanding on the part of my dad when they moved house all the films ended up after a wrong turn on a bonfire, so I have no record of my work.

Though I have recently made video edits of Animal Kingdom, Tarzan Rocks and Festival of the Lion King. You can find them on Disney-Central or the Torrents version.

On the performance side I've done a lot of acting, mainly local theatre and I come from a performing background - my folks met doing variety in Scotland.
