I just got back from my lil 2 day excursion to WDW. Great trip overall. Went to Epcot and MK. Western Way is without a doubt the best way to get there from the Turnpike right now. No one must know about it yet because it was empty. Going and coming combined I met up with a total of 2 other vehicles. Beautiful weather along with a slightly large crowd. Although I was shocked at the prohibitively long line for Soarin'. I have never seen the line go from outside the attraction's area and up the staircase and beyond that in The Land Pavillion. Wow. Needless to say, I didn't ride it. I consider myself an old WDW traditionalist, and I too said that fastpass would ruin the fun of waiting in the big lines with your family. Well, I can't be bothered with long lines anymore. I have been spoiled. Also dealing with Soarin', the lines were so huge and demanding that we saw one girl who works there flip off her manager as he walked away. It was kinda funny actually in that she thought no one saw her. I will say this, there was more trash on the ground than I have ever seen at WDW. Maybe it was just coincidental and I was seeing the trash right after it was thrown on the ground and no one had the chance to pick it up yet. Who knows. Maybe I'm just getting a little to fancy in my old age. That being said, it was a great trip as usual.
