Tuesday night, my family was on JC and the boat died in the temple Half in/half out. Completely dead. For a while we all thougt it was part of the CM's act since he was quite entertaining....but no. He had to radio back to the dock, and about 15 minutes later another boat came to tow us to the dock. It was a pretty cool experience.

Our skipper, Joey, was awesome. He kept us laughing. The boat behind us also had to sit and wait. Since it was late at night it was even more fun. He said that had never happened to him. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

No, unfortunately no pics. It was very dark, there was no light on our boat so I didn't think the pictures would turn out.

At the beginning of our cruise, my 12 yo old daughter was the only one to sit in the middle crate area. He had told her "Ah, thank you for being the sacrificial lamb on the crate altar". When we stopped, he said it must be her fault.

Never had that happen but we did get sprayed by an elephant once. Up until that happened I always thought the CM was just "faux driving" the boat. Nope, turns out they really do control at least the speed and the start/stop. The CM that day pulled up a little too much and the baby elephant popped up and hosed us down big time. I thought she was going to have a stroke! I've never had anyone apologize so much in my life. When we got off the boat a supervisor was there and walked us to guest relations where they gave us a magic little golden FastPass for the day.

I'd get sprayed with elephant water every trip if I could get that super FastPass every time!

The two times I have been with my son, he has always been the skipper and did the driving of the wheel. What an experience for him. He always felt so welcomed, important and special. He has said that he cannot wait to do this again when we go in 2 weeks!!:)
