I've noticed that the bonus features on the Cars DVD tends to be a little on the lacking side when compared to other Disney DVD releases. I at least expected the Rascal Flatts video on it.
Then I noticed that Target and Wal-Mart both have different bonus DVDs for sale along with the normal DVD. Each of these bonus DVDs have different bonus material. Including the Rascal Flatts video on the Wal-Mart DVD.
Is this going to be a new trend for Disney? Produce a normal DVD with minimal bonus features, and then sell bonus DVDs at different retailers, to force you to buy the movie two or more times to get all of the bonus features? And then some where down the line they will most likely package all of this material into a "specail collectors edition, Platinum, 2 year anniversary, 2 disc DVD special"
to make you buy the movie again?
Anyone else notice this, or have info on what is going on at Buena Vista Video?
