My Ideal Disney Resort

It's been a long time since I've been here, and for a good reason. This site has negatively impacted my mental health and my appreciation for Disney Parks. I'm debating on whether or not I should even be here again. I have a new and improved Disneytopia draft, as well as an idea for a Universal Resort in Texas (different from the Kids resort they're installing there.) But my mother and I both know that this site is dangerous for my brain.

And some things have changed since then. I've become a published author, publishing my first book, Magecraft: Legend of the Last Snawfus, which is on Amazon right now. I published it Summer of last year.

Lately, I've been thinking about what my perfect Disney Resort would look like. I'm going to Europe this October and I'll be seeing Disneyland Paris then (we hope to do both Disneyland and the newly-rebranded Disney Adventure World in one day.) During this, I've researched Disney Parks from all around the world, and if I had to bring the best to one place (or in my opinion, the best), this is what it would look like.

Disneyland Park:
This is the first gate, and it is split into seven areas.

Main Street USA: Classic 1900s main street, also behind a hotel like in Paris. It features a City Hall, Disneyland Defenders (which is like Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom), Four Main Street Vehicles (Horse-Drawn Streetcar, Omnibus, Firetruck, and Automobile,) a Walt Disney exhibition inside the Opera House, as well as the Discovery and Liberty Arcades from Paris.

Castle Gardens: The Hub of the park, now an area of its own on an island in the center. This is where guests would find the Partners Statue of Walt and Mickey, a meeting place for Mickey Mouse and the Princesses, and a castle that is a hybrid of Shanghai's castle with the princess mosaics and Paris's castle with its fairy tale quality and the Dragon's Lair beneath it.

Frontierland: Going clockwise around the park, this area places guests in the Old West town of Thunder Mesa. It features the two Riverboats from Paris, Phantom Manor, Paris's Big Thunder Mountain (where it's on an island), and Western River Expedition, but a very different one than what was originally planned for Magic Kingdom. This is more like an IP-less Splash Mountain with original anthropomorphic animal characters.

Adventureland: Next up is the Tropical land of Adventureland. This features the Enchanted Tiki Room (Orlando) in a Polynesian area, the Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands (Paris) and Jungle Cruise (Tokyo) in an African area, Indiana Jones Adventure (Anaheim) in an Indian area, and the Adventure Isle from Paris, including Swiss Family Treehouse and Pirate Galleon, as well as Paris's Pirates of the Caribbean, in a Caribbean area.

Fantasyland: This area surrounds the Voyage to the Crystal Grotto attraction from Shanghai. Guests enter into a Medieval village with Cinderella's Carousel (Hong Kong) and Mickey's PhilharMagic, then go up through the English Countryside, home to Peter Pan's Flight (Shanghai), Pooh's Hunny Hunt, and Mad Tea Party (Paris), before going through a French village, where Tokyo's Beauty and the Beast ride is located. Then, guests go through a mountain area where they can ride Tokyo Disneysea's Tangled boat ride, as well as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Shanghai version.) Finally, guests go through a Carnivale area home to Dumbo the Flying Elephant (Orlando) and It's a Small World (Paris.)

Discoveryland: Known as "Yesterday's Tomorrow," this features two sections: a Renaissance village and a Steampunk world's fair. In the first area, guests can ride the Orbitron from Paris and a modified version of Tokyo Disneysea's Soarin, but based on Da Vinci's Flying Machine. The steampunk area is mainly based on Jules Verne, with the original version of Paris's Space Mountain (From the Earth to the Moon) and Tokyo's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride present. It also has a new version of Epcot's former Horizons attraction.

Tomorrowland: Known as "Today's Tomorrow," but focused more on science fiction. This features Shanghai's Jet-Pacs, as well as their take on Buzz Lightyear (Buzz Lightyear's Planet Rescue.) It also has the Stitch Encounter show found in Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo, the Happy Ride with Baymax from Tokyo, and TRON Light cycle Run from Shanghai. There is also a small Star Wars section home to Star Wars: The Adventures Continue, Star Wars Launch Bay, and a Hogwarts Express-style attraction taking guests to the other park.

Disney's Hollywood Adventure
This is done in a similar style to Universal Epic Universe, with five lands branching off of a central area. It has six areas and blends Hollywood with IPs.

Hollywood Gardens: This is the Central area of the park, themed to a romanticized version of Hollywood. This features a new version of the Great Movie Ride, but entirely Disney and related IPs, as well as Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. It also features Mickey and the Magician from Paris, a Disney Junior Show, and a new 3-D show for the Muppets. In the back of the area is a lagoon for nighttime shows, Orlando's Tower of Terror, and a version of Rock'n'Roller Coaster without a host band at all. It instead plays music from many rock bands, not just one.

Worlds of Pixar: This is the biggest area of the park with five mini-lands themed to Pixar movies. This includes a Toy Story area with several kiddie rides and Toy Story Mania, a Finding Nemo area with Tokyo's Nemo and Friends SeaRider and Turtle Talk with Crush, a Monsters, Inc. area with the Ride-and-Go-Seek attraction from Tokyo, a Ratatouille area with Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and a Cars section with Radiator Springs Racers.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: A slightly modified version of the American takes of the land, featuring Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, a permanent Hyperspace Mountain, and the Hogwarts Express-style space shuttle taking guests to Disneyland.

World of Frozen: This is the smallest of the five areas, but it has Hong Kong's Wandering Oaken's Mountain Sleds Coaster, the Frozen Broadway show previously found at Disney's California Adventure, and Paris's version of Frozen Ever After, which I think looks better than Epcot's.

Avengers Campus: This lengthy area is immersive and features lots of great things, although it still goes by my anti-Fox views and my restrictions to the Infinity Saga. It has a different version of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind that doesn't feature the Epcot elements, Shanghai's Marvel Universe, and the Avengers Adventures Motion simulator, which is my ideal MCU attraction.

Pandora: The World of Avatar: A scaled-down version of Animal Kingdom's land with a modified Navi River Journey and the Flight of Passage.

I'm not sure if I should return to post about my new resorts. I know how bad of an effect this site had on me, so I'm reluctant. However, I do feel like I need to get these ideas out somewhere.
