We all know that DHS and Epcot will be changing a lot, DHS has gotten TSL recently and with SW:GE, M&MRR and a possible Marvel land (if Disney and Universal propose a trade). Epcot may be getting a overhaul soon with Future world but I highly believe that if DHS numbers don’t get higher and they probably will get much higher but the number of E-tickets are just horrible compared to the others as Epcot may be getting a lot more E-tickets soon. I like the idea of the new idea of DHS of immersing guests in the worlds of their favorite movies I think this would be expanded upon
My idea of a Disney’s Hollywood Studios Overvaul
I think a few new expansion pads are possible as they can move the parking lots/ turn them into garages to save space or use up some of the free space (I know all about the preservation and the fact that they buy more of the wetland area to open up more space in WDW)

I think DHS should be one of the biggest Disney parks to use a lot of the IP’s that they own that are purely amazing that they should (Marvel, Indiana Jones, Zootopia (does not feel AK enough), Wreck it Ralph, more Pixar, recently bought Fox IP’s, etc.) The possibilities are almost endless, and so will those post (JK)

The Lost Temple: Indiana Jones
A land that will consist of two main attractions that will take place in a temple that goes into a volcano. This will feature and Indiana Jones meet and great plus a lush jungle surrounding the area for transition. There also will be the needed stuff (bathrooms/washrooms and food/drink stands)
Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of Doom
This will use the name of the movie (IJ: Temple of Doom). It will be a port of IJA: TotFE in DL but with altered scenes like what the Tokyo One did. It will have the same track layout with the temple being a sacrificial place for a god who has the head of a crocodile. This ride will feature proper booby traps thus giving it the name of doom. These traps will be where the Rat Log scene and the area right before the Spider scene in DL. Everything else will stay the same or altered a bit to fit the different theme.
Indiana Jones: Doom-Carts
A horrible Mine Cart roller coaster name but it works. It will be more thrill enduring with loops and it is a much bigger version then the Paris one. It will be an upgrade to that and will feature multiple high banked turns and lift hills. This ride will be in the volcano of the land and will have huge capacity because of the amount of lift hills and how big the cars are so crowds can be moved through faster which should be a priority now. This is reducing the idea from the original Indiana Jones land for DL.
Radiator Springs
It will just be a port of RS: Racers from DCA, the rest of Radiator Springs will not be there as only the DCA E-ticket will be there. I just don’t see how the rest would do. This whole idea is to put more rides in but some shops and food areas from RS will be there but no other rides.
The Incredicoaster
This will be a completely different version to the DCA version and will replace Rock’n Roller Coaster instead of taking up a expansion area. This will be a indoor coaster with yes a launch but not as many inversions and will instead take guests around the city from the Incredibles as the Omnidroid attacks it. The coaster will have more capacity through a lift hill in the ride as the show building gets another few levels so a car can be emptying, loading, launching, in motion and going up the lift hill all at once. The guests will fly around the omnidroid as it fires lasers at them and the Incredibles then it ends when the guests fly into its heart like what happened in the movie. Or maybe it features a totally different Omnidroid so you don’t have to have seen the movie but anyways the ride will still be the same.
Night at the Museum: The ride
A but if a generic name but I have lived the Fox trilogy and it would fit into DHS because the movie is so Hollywood. The ride will be a ghost train style where the guests journey through the museum as it turns to life. The ride will have a ghost train omnimover twist (not a thrill ride) There will be lots of cool animatronics including one of the Skelton if the T-Rex which would be impressive.
Avengers Acadeny
If Disney and Comcast/ Universal agree to shut down the contract between old Marvel and Universal then Marvel at WDW yeah.
Avengers Coaster
Every Marvel land will soon have one so why not this one. It will feature multiple inversions as Disney’s most thrilling ride and will be one of many attractions at the AA outpost to recruit more Avengers. It is a test to see how the guests do in combat in battle.
Ant Man and the Wasp: Nano Battle
An upgraded version of the one in Hong King where it combines the IJA ride vehicle and BL:AB vehicle do there can be huge amount of guest on the ride. It will have the same story as the HK version but on a much larger scale with better show scenes and more elaborate show scenes. It will be a dark ride.
The Doctor Strange show
DHS has a lot of stunning shows and a one with Doctor Strange using the mapping projections of 2.5D to create illusions will be a cool idea with Doctor Strange and could rival Fantasmic or the IJ: Stunt show (which will move to the new land)

You can't fill in the water. You can expand into thecparking lot and build a garage. As for your proposed rided somd are interesting but for the near future the contract will stay in place, Comcast will give it up when they are ready and not before.

How much has Disney invested in this park and we're STILL talking about an overhaul?

The sad part is that it probably does still need one.

I think a big part of that is that this parks attendance nose dived in the past few years, it needs more rides and it’s just sad about that. The overhaul idea i had probably won’t happen and I know that. DHS just needs more rides/lands featuring guests favorite movies

Turning RNRC into the lame Incredicoaster? Yeah, I think you have a future with WDI.
Yeah I see how that is a bad idea but I could not think of anything else besides Iron man or Monsters Inc. and the Incredicoaster at DCA is fine but I want to imagine a better one and the Incredibles is Pixar’s second best franchise through profits
RNRC will have to go soon as Areosmith is fading or if they just put a new rock band (I didn’t know who they were before researching the coaster or I should have just put an idea where it could be reimagined with a new rock band (please suggest so I could change it/ write down another idea) but also if Disney is trying to make guests be immersed in the worlds of movies and RNRC is not an IP ride and Bob Iger has made them change rides based off of non-Disney IP be replaced (Ellen’s Energy Adventure into GotG, Fox buyout, etc.) I just wish that RNRC could stay but I expect it to change one day unless they fit it into a movie IP/TV IP.

Should be in the cringeworthy armchair imagineering section.
I sometimes try to change things up so I have different idea then others (did I post this in Imagineering) but yes it belongs in the crazy section as I have a strange mindset

No you don't. You have a creative mind. Don't let less creative peoples tell you otherwise. But do try to share that creativity in the Imagineering forum. People struggle to see big picture ideas when IP is involved. More so when it's an "armchair" idea. And if we're being honest... I'm like 99% certain Disney's Imagineers have also brainstormed the concept of incorporating the Incredibles IP into RnRc. To think they haven't would be "crazy".

And some of what you proposed sounds very logical. I'm hopeful some of it will come to fruition.

Hmm...

Could a rename to Disney-Fox Studios work?
Probably I believe that since Pixar, Marvel, Fox and Lucasfilm all are owned by Disney I expect the company with the more Ip’s in it will have their name on the park name (Disney MGM studios for example) but if they were to use IP’s from all of their properties I think maybe calling it Disney at the Movies it just Disney Studios.
We could get a massive Fox overhaul and it could become Fox Studios.
I think it is in the realm of possibilities

Plus all their TV studios (ABC, ESPN, FX), and shuttered brands. I picked Fox because it isn’t part of the Disney brand.

This would be tough unless you know a way for Springfield, and The Simpsons Ride to be in DHS.
I don’t think that we will get the Simpsons for a while.
I bet soon we will but I think Disney will want to find a way to properly bring them to the parks because the Simpsons is kinda dark
But one day we will get Simpsons
