Hi The 90skid, Great idea about Disney making fresh live action movies such as a new movie revolving around the Moby Dick novel. I think Disney, like much of the rest of Hollywood, has been playing it safe by releasing a lot of sequels, prequels, and reboots. While there is nothing wrong with them, it does seem to imply that the writers may be short on new ideas. Basically, even if they have an under performing sequel, they may be able to make up the difference with subsequent sequels. There are a lot of classic books that Disney could adapt into live action movies. It might help get this younger generation reading on their own some of the classics kind of like how the Harry Potter novels got young kids reading a decade ago.
