My glass got washed away!

I was shocked this morning when we emptied the dish washer to find that the designs on both WDW glass steins were washed off completely. I have no idea what happened! They've both been washed before and have come out perfectly.

Is this shoddy materials from WDW or maybe we used a harsh setting on the washer?

Same thing happened to one of my shot glasses from E:E. I think it was because the water was too hot in the dish washer, but no other cups have had problems, so I'd also attribute it to cheap materials. Cups and shotglasses should be made to withstand a dishwasher, after all, they are dishes.

I'm sorry your stuff was ruined.

Your experience just confirms my decision never to put any dishes I value in the dishwasher.

My resort mugs have always been hand washed.
