My First "Keys to the Kingdom" Tour!

Since everyone I know seems to be going out of town this weekend, I decided to take a quick solo trip to the World (this will be my second solo trip, the thousands of other visits always involved girlfriend, family, etc., and the first solo visit, which happened to be my latest, was a BLAST!).

Anyway, I called WDW and was able to get a place on a “Keys to the Kingdom” Tour! I have been hearing wonderful things about this tour (along with the larger, full day, behind the scenes of the whole resort tour) for some time now, and I figured, hey, it’s about time! I am certain I will already know all the “facts” and “trivia” they spill, but I am thrilled to go behind the scenes! I know many of you have taken this tour, so I wanted my excitement with the WDW fan family!

PS: Since I am flying solo and do not have to worry about playing “tour guide” to family/friends, etc. is there anyone who will be visiting the World this weekend and is willing to meet up? I would love to meet some new souls who “get” the WDW love!:sohappy:

Have a great weekend. My sister and I won't be there until Tuesday (4 days and counting down the hours!!:sohappy::sohappy:) Let us know how the tour goes, I'm thinking about signing up for it.

Yeah, I agree with Laura, I learned a lot too.

I really enjoyed this tour. It's neat seeing the backstage areas, and a lot of the history and tidbits the guide shares are really cool, and even when you hear or see stuff you've heard of before it still has extra added meaning when you're right there in the Magic Kingdom talking about it.

Also, because the groups are small and mostly veteran Disney nuts there's several opportunities to ask questions that don't seem too geeky and at least in my experience our guide was quite knowledgeable.

I'm sure you'll have a great time, be sure to post a review when you get back!

OMG I'm so jealous of you. I love keys and no 2 tours are alike (I know, I've done it 4 times so far with number 5 coming in July )

You are going to have so much fun and although you'll know some of the info, try not to be too much of a show off, not everybody live here on WDWmagic :animwink:

oh and by chance if you get Jeff, tell him Ari says Hi

I just found out that Disney booked us for the Keys to the Kingdom tour instead of hte Backstage Magic tour which is what my dad thought we were going to get. It is totally my dad's fault b/c he lost all of our information so we can't verify that it is a mistake. Oh well, I'm still excited to go on this tour! It will be my first time also! When you get back let us all know how it went!

I was going to do the tour for my birthday but...my parents signed me up for the Livewire camp that takes place at WDW so I am not doing the tour when we go for our family trip. Have fun though, I have heard great things about it!
