we have been searching for a true Dole whip recipe that comes the closest to the real deal.. here is what I have come up with. .Since I have a VITAMIX blending is no object.. I currently use a half a can of Dole crushed pineapple and half that juice.. over the top of that I put about a half a cup of Redi whip.. and a tablespoon of Vanilla ..and then put an equal to the crushed pineapple worth of FROZEN DOLE PINEAPPLE.. and blend it to about the same consistency as a Dole whip.. about a minute or minute and a half depending upon your machine.. the color taste and texture are just about perfect but each batch is different.. the taste seems to be spot on..

That's interesting, but can't you pretty much get Dole Whip everywhere? I have a place within walking distance of my house that serves it.

when you live out in the country like I do.. Dole whips aren't just every where.. this is FROZEN CUSTARD COUNTRY and not yogurt or even soft serve area.. I have one place that serves this maybe.. however .. its much cheaper to make it at home.. and I know exactly what I am eating.. no preservatives at all..

That makes sense. I might have to try your recipe though it sounds good. Dole Whip doesn't have dairy so I think using the whipped cream might make it a little creamier.

Also for those interested if you have a soft serve machine you can buy the actual Dole Whip mix itself.

Our local froyo shop, Menchie's has Dole Whip every so often (they email me when they have it!). Last email I received said they have Dole Whip Floats, but I was about a week from my WDW trip so I didn't check it out.

Whats really hard to find is strawberry Dole Whip. Pineapple is great but strawberry is my favorite flavor of it. I only ever see it served at the Strawberry Festival near Tampa.

It would be helpful to upload a video demonstration on Youtube or something so we know what it looks like and how to best replicate it. You'd get a LOT more traffic than just this thread if it's good, if edited well and is easy to follow, too.
Seems like just about every yogurt shop has them.
Have you ever done home made ice cream? It tastes way better than store bought. Same principle for this, if the recipe works.

Going to try your method. Crossing my fingers....Every time I have tried other recipes it just never seems to come out right. But I admit, I'm not kitchen abled. I have never boasted of having any cooking talent in my genes. Cant find a Dole Whip anywhere near me either, so I have to wait to get my true Dole Whip fixes on my Disney trips
