Since I am more or less completed with my Magic Kingdom park, I am going to start working on my the second park in my theme park resort, Disney Studios. Trouble is, I could use a few guidelines for the layout. One thing I wanted to do was to make my Disney Studios park easier to navigate than Disney-MGM, possibly with somewhat of a "hub" type layout-- but I have no idea how to do this with a studios park, while keeping it consistant in terms of theming and operations.
To start off, my Disney Studios park is equipped with six soundstages, (with room to add more if the need for expansion ever comes up!), a backlot (which includes the now-departed at WDW Residential Street), a state-of-the-art animation studio producing both traditional cel and computer animation, along with occasional clay animation (mainly for demonstration purposes and an occasional project such as those clay-animated Disney Channel promos they have early in the morning); along with the Earfell Tower, which is an actual working water tower for the studios and park, unlike the giant prop at Disney-MGM in Orlando.
In addition, there will be a number of rides and attraction; I would say about 1/2 to 2/3 the number that Disney-MGM currently has as of this park's opening.
Any comments, ideas, and/or suggestions are welcome, since I really could use you help for this!
