Are the posted times for rides on MDE right on or should I find another app?

Why do they lie? There are as another person said accurate to the ones posted in the parks, however sometimes towards closing the signs in the parks lie; and I mean that literally.
I guess to deter you off the attractionWhy do they lie?
Crowd management.Why do they lie?
Or onto it.I guess to deter you off the attraction
Interesting. So MDE could be posting misleading ride times to maneuver people to or away from attraction? If yes, genius.Crowd management.
Yes and no, a CM will tell you the honest wait time if you ask. What they do is have a CM keep rescanning the red wait time card at the entrance, so it never changes the wait time.Interesting. This is nothing new. Disney has manipulated posted wait times since the early years of MK for crowd management, like @CaptainAmerica said.Interesting. So MDE could be posting misleading ride times to maneuver people to or away from attraction? If yes, genius.
That is true. That is way I like the touringplans.com app with the wait time and the expected wait time posted the expected wait times have been spot on in my experinces, but when something is free versus something you have to pay for go with free and be pleasantly surprised when you wait is shorter than the posted time. They've been spot on with the times posted at the rides everytime I've gone including all last week. But keep in mind just cause it's posted say 40 mins doesn't mean the line really is 40 mins. Most times the wait is around 10 mins or so shorter than posted
