My Disney Experience Issue

Hi, I know we've all been having "technical difficulties" with the new site (or rather, Disney has been having the difficulties), but I'm not sure what to do about this one. I can't seem to link a resort/package reservation for some reason. It claims I have entered the wrong information. I have the confirmation number in an e-mail, so I know it's correct. I have a few other room-only reservations that I was able to link, so I'm wondering if it's because it's a package with dining that's an issue? I made it with a bounceback offer last September, so maybe because I booked it that way it's having problems. Plus, just to make this weirder, my iPad seems to be resisting the new version of the site and continues to show me the old version, where this "unlinkable" reservation still shows up. Not sure how much longer I'll be able to access that version on my iPad, but it's the only reason I know that reservation still exsists!

My 180 day mark is coming up soon...if I can't link my reservation, am I going to have issues making dining reservations? I usually try to do them online, but since this site is so glitchy now, not sure if that's possible even if my confirmation number was working.

Anywho, if anyone else has experienced this, what did you do to correct the problem? How can I even view my reservation to see the details or how much I still owe on it? Or is there anything to do but try to get someone on the phone to help me fix it? Thanks in advance!

I have now spent two sessions on the phone with the technical support folks about MDE. They tell me that they are working really hard to get everything straightened out but are still having trouble. Today after a two hour episode I was able to get all of my room ressies to show up and when I went back tonight they were gone again??!! I am doing it for the same reason as you, I want to get my 180 plus 10. At six am when online opens up. Getting beyond frustrated. I have now invested about twenty hours into getting ressies to stick and they keep going away.

God, I hope they get this App working correctly. The Idea of managing the entire trip from my Iphone is very appealing to me ....

I just started using it and It seems very glitchy and Unstable.

I got My adrs to take but havent played around with anything else yet!!

Only Time will tell!! Good luck!!

I had the same issue and then one day my resort reservations just "magically" appeared. I called a few times and they told me to just try another day. I just hope it works in 8 days for my ADRs

I would just call instead of doing it online.

Yes definitely! If you get an ADR using the app I would definitely call at 7am to make sure it really does exsist.
Would you call even if you get an e-mail confirmation for the ADR? I'm guessing I probably will call, but if I can swing it through the app an hour earlier, that would be better...

Use the My Disney Experience app for your iPad. The site won't freeze on you this way. You will still be able to make dining reservations even if you don't have everything quite linked. You won't be able to make reservations that require you to use a credit card, though (ex. Be Our Guest). I make reservations from my account and my dad makes them from his and we all manage to get in somehow. We never link our resort reservations and do not have any issues. Since you're having issues linking, though, I would call. Dining has not been an issue, but I wouldn't risk it with a hotel room. Disney should also know that you are having this issue.

Yeah the website is awful, I'm not sure how a company that big got stuck with such a bad website. I have my resort linked to my account but my ADRs won't link. They are there, I verified them but they won't show up on the website.
