My Disney Audition

Just got back from yesterday's auditions. They liked my song, but I kind of had to fake my way through doing vocal percussion. So I'm kind of iffy about American Vybe. I'm definitely going to keep going back until I get some sort of singing role @ WDW.

Some advice, I got there at 9:30 to sign in and was #84. Got back at 1:00 and sang at 2:15. So if you go to the next audition, try getting there by 9 AM to register.

I'll keep you posted when I hear something!

Thanks =) I might even through in an acting audition or two, depending on the results of future auditions.

(Imagines himself on stage @ the Comedy Warehouse or the A.C.)

Ummmmm What did you sing?? Let us know if you hear anything!

Try out for "everything" you never know! Sometimes it is just being at the right place at the right time-- and the group you try out with--- :lookaroun

The fact that they even asked you to do vocal percussion at all means they liked you pretty well. Who was auditioning you? Did you get any names? Ronny Rodriguez? Mike Korkis? Mike is really nice. They may also be considering you to sub for 44$ since they use vocal percussion, though those guys usually choose their own subs.

Good luck--singer positions at WDW are few and far between these days...keep us posted. You should audition for Tokyo Disney as well, they hire several singers every March and October. I'll be there for most of next year, so maybe I'll see you there!!!!!!!!!

From one singer to another - CONGRADS ON AUDITIONING!

We all know that's the hardest part - s__________g it up and Trying out! :) Best of luck!

I hope one day to work for the Disney Cruise line, but my first album isn't due out until early next year, so I'll have to see how that does first.

:sohappy: Way to go!:sohappy:

Wow! That sounds awesome! I hope that you get your audition!
I have a few questions for you, since it seems like you went to the open call audition on November 19.
My boyfriend is interested in Comedy Warehouse. He has an agent in NYC (where he is right now) and has experience doing standup, sketch comedy (writing, acting, directing) in NYC, etc. Do you know what the process is for this? Does he just go to the open call? Any experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
