I was thinking about taking a quick trip to DL (like 2 or 3 days) next week using some AAdvantage miles. When I enrolled it was 20,000 miles for a free plane ticket, and my current balance is 20,085... so obviously, I was excited since I was able to get free airfare to DL. Well, when I tried to cash in my reward mileage today... no dice. It's 25,000 miles for domestic now...
I've been looking througout the website to see what ways I could earn some quick miles... like the usual long distance switch, or credit cards. Nothing that quick other than buying miles ($137 for 5,000 miles.. but that sorta defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do). I'm thinking about calling Holiday Inn Priority Club, and see how I can transfer the points I have with them to AA miles.
Any suggestions? Comments? Gift Miles? Ideas..
